We enjoyed the location and the people were very friendly. The bathhouse is a bit dated but served its purpose. If your in Galena to see the town you are as close as you can get to park your RV or camper.

We camped here for two nights while visiting Galena. The girl at check in was very friendly and showed us on the map where our spot was and she also sold us a couple bundles of firewood as well. As for the campground, the spots are very close together where you were almost on top of each other. Not much...

Small unlevel sites, very close together. Poor wi-fi. no fire rings, only holes in the ground. Campground was full due to craft fair in Galena, however it was very quiet. Campers and staff were friendly. Would stay here again.

Right next to the Walmart in Galena, IL. Extremely convenient location for sightseeing or other activities in Galena. DID NOT LIKE. The WI-FI is a bit "iffy" and we paid $3/site more just to be placed closer to a more receptive spot. The sites were muddy, not well kept, and extremely close to one another. We camped in September so...

We rented one of the cabins for a weekend getaway. For the cheap price, it was well-worth it, The cabins are very small and would not recommend for a family stay. The mattress are very uncomfortable The entire campground is very compact (to the point where you have people sitting in the road to use their firepit) and there is...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting historic Galena. Campground is close to Walmart and historic downtown. We were traveling in our motorhome so we did not use the showers or bathroom facilities. Campground was well kept; they even had a trick or treating night for the kids when we were there! WiFi worked great from...

We were here as part of the Northern Illinois BMW Riders camp-out. The weekend was wet but we don't blame the campground for that. :-) This place has nice shady camp sites, plenty of beautiful trees, sites with or without electricity, small a/c cabins and the usual big RV sites. The old bathroom facilities are combined within one space, without...

Good - $1 washers and dryers that work great, not crowded on a Monday and Tuesday, well maintained grounds. Bad - weak WiFi ok for email, sites are a little too close for comfort. Ugly - the showers were the pits, toilets passable

I love everything about the campground! So much for the kids to do! It was a win win for all! The pool was perfect in the hot July weather, and restrooms were clean and close to Walmart and Culvers was a huge bonus during our stay. 5 minute drive to downtown Galena!

It was hot! We enjoyed the pool and we're thankful for the dryer. Staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean. Bathrooms were outdated but clean. My 3 year old enjoyed the baby pool and my 9 year old liked the diving board. Kids had fun mini golfing and my 15 year old went golfing at Galena golf club close by....
