Our 2nd visit and a part of you always wonders if it will be as good as you remember. Lamberson did not disappoint and if possible exceeded our first visit. The inn keepers, Chris and Resa, are exceptional hosts and the food is worth the price of alone! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special time in Galena.

Lamberson Guest House is stunning! The home, the food, the owners, just everything about it is amazing. Chris and Resa are FANTASTIC hosts! Breakfast was incredible. The rooms are gorgeous. So cozy, with wonderful little touches; like a Berkey water filter, sodas, coffee, tea, and homemade cookies. I could not recommend this place more. We had an excellent time. 100/10 recommend!

My husband and I recently traveled to Galena for a romantic weekend getaway. We could not have been happier with the Lamberson Guest House. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Steff. She was so sweet and accommodating. She immediately helped us through the door and offered homemade treats and drinks. Every day at 3 o'clock, we had a delightful fruit and cheese plate waiting for us in the fridge along with our drinks of choice. The room we stayed in (the Jessie) was small but quaint and cozy. We had a great shower with wonderful water pressure and water that got nice and hot! The room was clean and overlooked the historic downtown area. One of the best parts of our stay was the breakfast! Every morning, we were served an absolutely delicious, hot homemade breakfast with fresh coffee and juice. Steff took special care to make sure everything was just right, and it was! It was a wonderful way to start our mornings. The location of the Lamberson Guest House is also perfect. Even in February, we had no issue walking down the hill to Main Street to eat and shop. This really comes in handy when Main Street gets crowded and busy and there's absolutely no parking. No parking - no worries! My husband and I cannot wait to stay here again. The house is so rich with history, and it is so beautiful and charming. We don't see ourselves staying anywhere else for our Galena visits in the future! …

Visited the Lamberson House for my wife's birthday and we were truly blown away by the hospitality of the hosts! From the charcuterie board and wine during the 4pm cocktail hour, to the custom birthday cake, to cookies in the parlor and brownies on our pillow, they truly went above and beyond to make us feel special!! The house was beautiful, super clean and probably the most upscale Bed and Breakfast we've ever stayed at. On top of that, the view from our room, overlooking all of downtown Galena, was simply amazing. The delicious, gourmet breakfast with beautiful presentation was just out of this world!

Service was top notch! The owners were friendly. The house was warm and charming. The food was off the charts. Had a great view of down town Galena. It snowed over night and we woke up to all of the snow blown off of our car! Would highly recommend this B and B to anyone!

We had a lovely stay at Lamberson Guest House! Up on the hilltop, we had a nice view of the city with its shops, cafes, & twinkling lights. Our hosts, Resa & Chris, felt like old friends as we chatted over a glass of wine in the beautiful front room. Breakfasts were delicious & rooms comfy!

My husband and I spent our anniversary at the Lamberson Guest House. Resa and Chris went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. There expert knowledge of the downtown and local restaurants were much appreciated. The house is beautiful- updated but kept a lot of the original charm. The food was outstanding! Resa and Chris are warm, welcoming, and friendly- it felt like we were staying with old friends. We highly recommend the Lamberson Guest House and we will be making reservations in the near future!

Lamberson Guest House is exceptional in many ways. By far this was the best B&B we've ever experienced. It checks all the "boxes" for quality which is entirely due to the thoughtful management by the proprietors Resa and Chris Larson. The star of the show is the house, restored and lusterous. The personal, friendly attention and service, delicious breakfasts, complimentary afternoon snacks and beveridges create the most welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend a stay.
