The hotel is nice. We had a room overlooking a small river with ducks in it. A lot nicer view than I had expected. The parking lot is plenty big and circles the entire building. Getting to the hotel from one direction though, you are required to go through a grocery parking lot that is filled with extremely large potholes. The rooms are fine with nothing special. They do have a small refrigerator though. There is not much else around except a couple pizza places that do deliver.

My grandson birthday have me visit this hotel , for 4 years. This hotel is for a guy that rent a car . The check in people always are happy to greet you. There are cookies in the night. They are fast and in no time you get to a room that’s comfortable. This time we’ve 2 beds one soft the other hard, the room is clean , bathroom is small and old. The internet is slow and sometimes stop. There is a high chlorine pool that is heated. There’s a Bistro with a limited breakfast and starksbuck coffee. The price is right and is close to Ollie s house . So will be back, hope the internet improve...

We were just in the Chicago suburbs for one night on family business, and got a good deal on this Courtyard close to where we needed to go. It was Labor Day weekend, so some of the amenities had revised hours (restaurant, coffee shop). No problem. The room was very clean and quiet, but the hotel in general could use some updates. It's clearly one of the older units in this line. The hot tub was full of vacationing families, so we weren't able to use that during the stay, but we did use the pool for a minute. Towels were thin and smelled like mildew, but otherwise it was an average hotel pool. I think all in all, it's not a bad choice if you get a great deal -- downtown Elmhurst is nice (short drive), but we would likely look elsewhere if in the area again.

We travel frequently with our boys sports teams and this was by far our worst hotel experience! During our weekend stay, the fire alarm went off EVERY morning before 8am and once again mid-morning! (A total of 4 times!!) All instances were at the fault of the hotel. The alarms were set off by smoke/fire in the kitchen and in the laundry room. The hotel staff was unapologetic of their negligence. One instance resulted in one of our families even being late to their child’s tournament game due to the fire trucks blocking their vehicle. The frequency of the fire alarms created an unsafe environment for our families as many people indicated they felt it was no longer necessary to rush to exit the building should the alarm sound again. Thus creating a huge safety concern for our team families should there be a legitimate larger emergency during our stay. It was suggested by the hotel staff that they were not accustomed to providing breakfast to such a large group either. The hotel assigned only a 30 minute time slot to each team and were extremely rude to our families during that time. One specific morning our 12 athletes finished the small portion of bacon that was provided. While the parents of the teammates awaited for a refill, the hotel staff rudely advised that the boys each took too much and it would be at least 10 minutes before more was ready. As a mom, I quickly looked at the teams table and each of the boy’s plates were clean!! I could understanding the hotels complaints if the boys were wasting it. But not one slice was thrown away. It was an unrealistic expectation on behalf of the hotel that a 10 year old athlete would take only 1 slice of bacon! And unacceptable that they were so rude to our families! The worst part of the deal is that our team pays an upcharge for hotel stays as we book through our tournaments. Bottom line...this was an overpriced horrible experience!
