Your paying for a great experience without tapping out your wallet. We have stayed at numerous choice hotels and despite this ones appearance, the staff try and make your stay accommodating. Look for the evening with warm cookies, coffee and popcorn!
Traveling through and stayed for an overnight. We stayed in Room 101, we had a nice room with a king bed. The hotel was recently remodeled. Our room only had a shower so if you are looking for a tub you need another room.
We reserved two rooms. One with a king, one with 2 beds. No difference in price when making the reservation. When checking out the room with 2 beds was almost $20 more per night. Staff would not make any changes or correct
Ida, the clerk was really GREAT!! We had my mother & she is 90. They were able to put on the first floor. We had our own rooms just a few doors apart. My Mother's was a handicap room as she uses a walker. Our's had a king size bed. Both rooms were clean, quiet & comfortable. The breafast was good & had food available. I would recommend staying there. I was so please, that my wife & I are staying at a Quality in in Grinnell, Ia. for two nights during the last week in June.
When I walked in every one was very helpful. Maintenance came right away because I didn’t have a remote for the TV. After we went to bed we (my 90 year old mom and myself) can hear the desk help laughing and talking very loud about us. Then some guy keeps walking past the door talking loudly,”hey you in bed already, it’s only 9:00, you in there, you in bed.” Then in the room next to us the same thing. Then in the hall again until 10:00 or later. The lady at the desk that helped us was the one egging him on. I won’t even talk about all the crap my dog found to eat off the floor. I also think there was someone living in a car in the parking lot. There was someone in a running car every time I took the dog out the whole time we were there.
