We stayed in the Mulberry suite. The room was spacious, and included a vintage style record player- a cool touch… Bedding was high-end, and the bed sumptuous. The room had a small patio giving in to the estuary, which was a great feature. We ate at the restaurant which was excellent in terms of quality and choice. Service was efficient but friendly, and I’d recommend the hotel to anyone. 5* from start to finish…

Hotel's Favorite
We were so lucky to spend our first night here at The Roslin and we talked about it our entire vacation. Everything about this hotel was perfection, from the friendly and very helpful staff, the thoughtful and intentional decor to the incredible drinks and gorgeous food. We wish we would stayed longer. I can assure you that the photos in this review do not do the property justice. The view from our room was outstanding. Having a little patio to enjoy before we headed downstairs for dinner was so relaxing and a great way to wind down after a long day of travel. Dinner was exceptional. I am sure we ordered almost everything or wished we had. Our server, Charlotte, was fabulous. She made excellent recommendations for dinner, had a delightful personality and truly was part of our overall experience. We had ordered the shrimp cocktail and the burrata to start and both were a great way to start our meal. Very tasty and left you wanting more! We all ordered cocktails - raspberry mojito's, watermelon martini's and pina colada's... they were absolutely delicious and we continued to order these throughout our meal. Our main course was the best meal we had in the 7 days we were in England. We ordered the chicken caesar salad, the seafood capellini and the pork belly salad. The portion sizes were large, so tasty and left us wanting to order more but we were too full. I ended my dinner with some sort of chocolate martini. With the whipped cream and chocolate I felt like a kid again. It was fun, delicious and just the right amount of alcohol. After dinner, we changed and walked the beach for a little bit. It was such a quiet town and so relaxing. It was a fabulous was to spend the rest of the night and a stone's throw from the hotel. When we returned, we had one more drink at the restaurant and went to bed. We were so relaxed when we retired to our room. We shared in some champagne and hand made chocolates over looking the sea view's before calling it a night. My husband is all about the shower's in hotel rooms and The Roslin did not disappoint. The rain shower head had the perfect amount of pressure and did get hot (which is what we love). The products that they have in the room (shampoo, condition etc) were excellent, smelt fabulous and did seem to be cheap. All in all - this hotel is by far one of my favorite's and gave us the kick start to our vacation that was needed after travelling over night. Breakfast in the morning was FABULOUS! Honestly - their breakfast was so great, it ruined breakfast for everywhere else we stayed! The sausage was incredible and I loved how everything was served, with the toast and tiny jams etc. Our server, Lea, was literally the best. She was great to chat with and was beaming with positivity and lots of energy. We loved chatting with her! Like their dinner service, they have breakfast totally figured out. We absolutely ADORE this place and truly do not think you could go wrong staying here. In my opinion, it was a fabulous stay for adults/couples who want to feel a little bougie and well taken care of.

Amazing place, attention to detail 👌. The staff just couldn't do enough for us. We received a free upgrade as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. They made a heart shape and put rose petals on our bed with chocolates with a card. There was a record player and a selection of records in the room. It was so romantic. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We absolutely loved our stay ❤️ and will definitely be returning

As always the decor is the first thing that says 5* then when shown to the table this continues with the service, menu selection and the ambiance. As it was just a few days before Christmas we all opted for the Festive Set menu which had so much choice. Spent 4 hours eating drinking and enjoying our surroundings getting into the Christmas Spirit.

Myself and sister bought the Roslin afternoon tea for our mum for Mother’s Day and went on Good Friday. The afternoon tea was one of the best that we had, particularly as my mum and sister are both vegetarians and the options were amazing and also Easter themed! Tamara who was our waitress was so accommodating and provided an amazing service. Could not recommend this more!

Enjoyed our Christmas gift of Sunday Roast, overnight stay & breakfast next morning. Room was immaculate & a lovely size with great views, only downside was having the kitchen extractor near our door so had constant smell of food. Roast dinner was amazing best roasties for ages. Cocktails always great Staff very professional, helpful polite & friendly Breakfast brilliant choices Highly recommend & can’t wait for another visit soon

Stayed at the hotel for a two night break and could not have chosen better. Smaller can be beautiful and that was the case with this hotel. Spotlessly clean and immaculately decorated, the colour co-ordination throughout the hotel and rooms was excellent. Reception was swift and efficient and was always staffed unlike some hotels where you can wait for ages for a receptionist to appear. The staff were first class, efficient, professional and knowledgeable and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Couldn't fault the room with all the things you might expect including complimentary soft drinks in the mini-bar. Everything was so clean it appeared new. Service in the restaurant was swift and we certainly had no complaints about the food. Breakfast was substantial but we also tried the afternoon tea (superb) and dinner (equally good). The location is excellent being on the coast road with sea views from the restaurant and some of the rooms. It is expensive compared to nearby budget hotels but you pay for what you get and this was worth it. There is ample car parking but bus routes also pass the door. All in all an excellent stay, thank you.
