Called in for early tea after long dog walk. Dogs welcome in the bar although we left ours behind. We got there too early so the bar man recommended Chatsworth farm shop for a mooch. They start serving for evening meals at 5pm. Loved the decor. All gold stags heads. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We sat in...

Don't believe people who downgrade Groupon! We bagged ourselves a 4 poster bed & breakfast with evening meal via Groupon and were not disappointed. The room was so pretty with comfortable four poster. Nice roomy sofa to sit & watch the box if you so desire. Lots of lamps for cosy atmosphere and three windows so plenty of natural light....

This was an offer from Groupon and great value. We always choose somewhere to accommodate the dog and this is certainly a dog friendly venue. We arrived a bit early and as it was raining, had a drink in the dog friendly bar. The room, South Oaks was stunning. Comfy four poster bed and the steps which I needed to...

A very pleasant visit. The staff were both friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and we loved the four poster bed even if I did need the steps to climb up onto it! The bathroom was well equipped and very spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed both our evening meal and the breakfast. We would love to go back for...

My husband is a Groupon Groupie and the Devonshire Arms offered a fabulous deal staying in one of their four poster farmhouse suites. We checked in at the pub and were directed to a farmhouse next door with its own parking we were booked into the Moor room on the first floor. The hallways were lovely and warm and very...

Small cramped room. Stained carpets dirty toilet brush not enough light, no bedside reading lamp on one side of the bed. A generator that was so loud and never stopped all night so didn't sleep for the racket. Way over price and the staff would benifit from a course on how to be nice and helpful to their paying customers....

The Devonshire Arms at Pilsley is a super little pub. It is located just across the road from the Chatsworth Farm Shop. It is a warm and welcoming, typically British pub. Our room was beautifully decorated in neutral tones and had a very large and well equipped bathroom. We had a very comfortable night and a lovely full English breakfast...

We recently spent a two night break which included a three course evening meal as well as breakfast on the two mornings. Lovely food, cozy and warm rooms very tastefully decorated. This is our third visit and will definitely be going back.
