We stayed in Ethaleia for five nights in August 2016. The hotel is perfectly located in front of the Moudros Bay with an astonishing view. The rooms are spacious and equipped with tradional furnitures. The owners Apostolos and Fenia are super friendly. Highly recommended!

A charming boutique style hotel in a stunning location with panoramic views across Mudros Bay. This is a place of great beauty and tranquility built to take full advantage of its elevated position. The rooms are spacious and furnished in traditional style and are spotlessly clean and air condtiioned. The owners are very friendly, speak good English and are so...

I had one of the best and most relaxing holidays in the island of Limnos, spending two weeks at the wonderful hotel Ethaleia. Built on a slope of a small hill, it is perfectly located, near some of the best beaches of the island, with crystal clear turquoise waters. All the rooms enjoy a breathtaking view of the Gulf of...

We arrived by air from Athens - Moudros from the sky was a cluster of red tile roofs and a patchwork of golden, green and yellow fields, ringed by turquoise water. The hotel itself sits on a hill overlooking the Bay of Moudros - it consists of three buildings made of stone. The stones are shades of yellow, terra cotta...

Luckily I'd read a review which mentioned needing a car the week before we went so I was able to organise one last minute. The hotel is situated in a lovely spot overlooking the bay but the approach is along a very steep dirt track and the nearest taverna or beach is several kms away. The owners, as other reviews...

This stay was a wonderful 5 day experience. My wife and I toured the Island, the beaches were prestigne and sandy. But what made the stay so special were the owners, Dena and her son Apostolos, they are special people with that gift to ensure you get the very best. The views from our room were exceptional, overlooking the Bay...

The fact that we were on our third return visit to this hotel says it all. Everything we have said before still applies. Brilliant hosts, fantastic setting, lovely food and superb rooms. The hotel owners Dina and Apostolis are the perfect pair to run a hotel. They are friendly, cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. It is a perfect...

We simply cannot say enough good things about this very special place. Our experience was so wonderful that we cannot wait to go back! Dina's cooking, hospitality, and generosity are second to none. You must try her dinners (with all fresh organic ingredients from the family's own farm)! The folks here are like the best family you've ever stayed with....
