Totally outdated Hilton, from the lobby to the hallways to the rooms. We booked a suite for our family and we ended up w/ Beds smaller than full size or some strange/old unusual size, rather than Queen size we accustomed to at other Hilton hotels. Being a Hilton Honor Member left even a bitter taste in our mouth. It was a terrible experience at this Hotel for myself, my wife, and our 3 young kids. Even the bathtub faucet was half-broken. There was no bellboy available to help us with our luggage, both ingress and egress. Using the provided luggage cart to bring our luggage inside the Hotel got stuck in poorly designed double-doors, that self close while you're in between them, and trying to get the cart through. We had a terrible experience at this Hotel. We'll never book at this Hotel again. It's a shame that Hilton owns this type of Hotel. Apart from its good location in the North side of downtown Chicago, it's unworthy of the high quality and high standard that Hilton Hotels aspires to. We felt that we wasted 3-days of valuable vacation time that we could have spent elsewhere. We'll never go back to this Hotel again. We had a terrible experience at this Hotel. I hope you won’t make the same mistake we made by booking at this Hotel and ruining your much needed vacation.

My sincere apologies for your experience not being to your expectations and to our own standards. As you can imagine, with COVID-19, a good number of services are not available and we realize that it does impact the overall experience. I can assure you that your experience is not typical of the experience of our guests. All of us look forward to being back to offer all the services that our guests expect unfortunately, the timing of these services to return is very much dependent on how COVID-19 will evolved. As of today approximately 30% of the hotel in Chicago are just completely closed. I can assure you that many of our guests return year after year. We realize that at time situations happen that need us to be informed and we appreciate you writing this review. In addition, please never hesitate to speak with our team members or myself while you are at the hotel, very often we can find a solution that make your stay a pleasant stay. I hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you and I invite you to contact me in advance of your visit refering to this particular review.

We were staying at the Hilton the 30th & 31st of Dec. 2019. Our flight got to Chicago early. We went to the hotel early & checked in w/ Michelle. We told Michelle, we understood, that we were checking in early & did not expect our room to be ready. We asked, if it was ok to wait in the lobby. Michelle, then offered to take our luggage & suggested we go to the executive lounge to have the complimentary breakfast (we are diamond Hilton members). She would notify us, when our suite was ready. After we had eaten our breakfast(hour later), we were sitting in the back of the lounge relaxing. Patrick (manager), came over to us & introduced himself. He asked us, if we were waiting to check in/out? We told him, we were early due to flying into Chicago on the red eye special. That Michelle(receptionist) was kind enough to offer us to wait & have breakfast in the executive lounge until room was ready. Patrick (manager), then excused himself. He came back and told us, that he got us an interim room for us to rest....and that the hotel will call us, when room was ready. Patrick even took us up the elevator to get to the room. Then, at 1pm the reception desk called us to let us know, that our room was ready. Wow🤩that was such a super positive, superb unexpected experience!!! Thank you Mr. Patrick & Michelle (& other support staff) for your kindness & caring😇 Majority of Hilton hotel staff (even abroad in other countries),that we have stayed at, have been very helpful. The only Hilton hotel/properties we have stayed at, that needs improvement in service & their executive lounge is the LAX Hilton. The Hilton on E. Delaware Street in Chicago staff....You are the tops....Thank you Michelle, Patrick, & staff👍🏾😀

I have been meaning to write this review for months. I used to travel to Chicago quite frequently for work, and stayed in this hotel on the first trip. I stayed again every time I went to Chicago. The location is perfect - so close to the Magnificent Mile and Lakeshore Drive. The cost is extremely reasonable given the location, even if you choose a lake view room with access to the Executive Lounge. The rooms are great too - comfortable beds and great work area. Probably the best thing is the personnel - everyone is friendly and helpful. Darnita is a day manager and is great at making you feel welcome and at home. My special shout out is to Alex - Head day doorman and bellman. Alex is AMAZING at his job!! He sees thousands of people every day and makes every single person feel special. He recognized me the second time I stayed there, and every time after that. Alex would make he took the time to say hello and ask how I had been. He is knowledgeable and always professional, but even more important he is warm and kind, and makes you feel at home. I haven't been to Chicago since November of 2019, but when I do - whether for work or pleasure - this is my go to hotel and I will look forward to seeing Alex. Keep up the outstanding work Magnificent Mile Suites!!

What a disaster! Put me on hold and never came back to me. I am a diamond member as well, didn’t mean anything to them. Plus they don’t even have parking! Was told to park at a hospital across the street, they must be crazy! Anyway, canceled my reservation and will be staying somewhere else.

My daughter and I flew to Chicago for a surgery for her. The surgical center gave me a couple of hotel suggestions. Hilton Chicago/Magnificent Mile suites was one of them. I called and talked with the Sales Manager Shannon. From the first conversation we had, I knew that's where we wanted to stay. We needed multiple things for my daughter since we were having to stay additional days because of the surgery, we needed a handicapped room, etc. I have NEVER had any hotel (and we travel a good bit) so kind and accommodating from the first call. We were so comfortable and safe the entire time we were there. The suite was perfect for what we needed and very reasonably priced. Very clean and roomy. Thank you HILTON CHICAGO/MAGNIFICENT MILE SUITES!!! We appreciate all you did for us! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!
