Perfect location if you want to be in the Mag Mile, Loop area. Clean hotel, helpful personnel. Our booking through a website didn't include internet access. Considering that our stay was more than 5 nights, they gave us 3 days complimentary. Good shopping in the area, all the big banners are there. Note that most restaurants in the vicinity get...

The Warwick Allerton hotel is ideally situated along the Magnificent Mile but it's age shows. I had a standard room with a Queen bed that was far away from the elevators (a value proposition offered to me when I checked in) but the room was very small and cramped, with dirty and worn carpet (gross). To add to this, there...

CDNTraveller604, Thank you for writing about your recent stay. Yes, all high rises in Chicago are known to nest spiders. However, we do have professional preventive care for circumstances of this nature. Our landmark hotel does have uniquely sized rooms and historically sized elevators. We are currently in the process of addressing the efficiency of our elevators and many other...

Overall the Warwick Allerton was a very good hotel. The room was spacious (suite), the windows opened, the bed was comfortable and the service was top notch from the bar to the maids. The location cannot be beat. However, the entrance to the hotel is very odd and check-in is curiously placed within the restaurant/bar that is also somewhat oddly...

I am sad to say I had a terrible experience. My credit card was charged twice this was just the start. One the room was very very small. Spend half my year in hotels and I am a Marriott junkie. When I got to this hotel I was greeted promptly and checked in. (Company had paid for normal queen bed room, I paid extra $40 per day to go into a suite out of pocket---VERY WORTH IT!!). The room was spacious, spectacular spacing and decor, huge king bed...

The breakfast buffet had a large variety of hot and cold foods; however it is expensive. There aren't really a lot of breakfast places to take off for a quick breakfast in the area, so they have you at an advantage. Our room was fairly large, the bathroom was another story. It was small with no place to really put...
