I made a solo trip for a long weekend in Chicago, my favorite city. The location is in the middle of Mag Mile shopping, so you will be in the thick of the hustle'n bustle shopping experience.

Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.

We recommend taking an Uber, cab or downtown shuttle service. Prices range from $45-$65 for these services. The most cost effective solution is to take the blue line on the city's elevated train system to the Washington station and then transfer to the red line (heading towards Howard) and exit at Chicago Ave. You will then walk approximately 4-5 blocks to the hotel which is located at Michigan Ave & Huron Street. Total cost of this one-way trip is under $3.00 per person.
