I will add a disclaimer that this is an updated review from my earlier post. I am torn between giving this property 3 and 4 stars, I had originally rated it 5 but today learned some information that has added a sour note to the end of what was supposed to be my Valentine's Day weekend. First, loved the room... More

I stayed for 2 nights in the Hyatt miracle mile for a business trip. New, modern rooms offer all the amenities you need. The check in Process is smooth and fast. Downside is he long wait to take he elevator to your room. I waited for at least 10 minutes to get on en elevator. There were about 15-20 people... More

Perfect service, excellent room, great amenities, outstanding location on Magnificent Mile. Only issue was the incredibly loud sirens due to hospital next door. The hotel provides earplugs (which helped a bit), but the City of Chicago should enforce quieter sirens at night (are the streets so crowded at midnight that ambulances need constant, blaring sirens?).

I arrived early and as I was a Hyatt member, the front desk upgraded me to a one bedroom suite. I was there on business so I appreciated the space. The rooms are clean and modern. The wifi worked extremely well, which was key for me. I read about the noise issue, but frankly I heard very little outside noise,... More

If I could pull a dumpster out off my rear and then with everything in it, build a hotel; this would be the result. This is the truest example of lipstick on a pig.. Everything looks nice but the staff is rude and unhelpful, unapologetic, and straight up lazy. There is only one parking option which is $60 US after... More

Stayed one night recently for business. Check in was fast and easy, our room was ready when we arrived at 11:00am. Received a high floor room as requested. Room was nice, king bed was comfortable. TV had plenty of channels. Pool area and gym area were very clean and neat. Only pool area issue we noted was the hot tub.... More

Really unpleasant that the elevators weren't functional and every time we wanted to go to and from the room to pool we had to track down staff for their elevators. Also our room keys worked intermittently.

Well its close to shopping and the botique hotel location is one of the prime benefits of this hotel and the suite rooms offer a great space for work and plan and the HVAC system is quiet and that means easy cleep and rest and work. We stay at hyatt hotels up to 3 months at a time and we... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
