We stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the location and felt very safe. The rooms were very comfortable and my daughter enjoyed the lobby and restaurant. Our last after we checked out they stored our luggage for us until later in the day and were very accommodating. Overall we very pleased with our stay and would absolutely stay here again. The only issue we had was it can take a while for the hot water in the shower (not all the time but at times). Finally I called down to the front desk and they did let me in on a tip - run the sink and shower at the same time for a minute to accelerate the hot water to the room. Weird but worked!

We splurged a bit for a hotel this time because we wanted ON the River Walk and we wanted a VIEW of the River Walk from our hotel room. So, knowing we splurged, it was well worth it to us because it achieved our goals! We didn’t have a car this trip; just taxied in fro O’Hare…..and then walked anywhere we wanted to go. Perfect location for this….and perfectly safe. Wandered along the River Walk, walked to Millennium Park, Grant Park, the Navy Pier, great restaurants & shopping, entertainment. Ate dinner one evening at the hotel’s rooftop Raised Bar….great ambiance. Launching for the Sunset River/Lake cruise was a short walk away (can see it from our hotel window). Hotel was clean; staff were helpful. Will likely stay there again.

Televisions were terrible. With bad service(tv) great location. Lobby music very loud. Felt Iike I was walking into a night club. Rooms were clean. Concierge doesn’t start work til after 11 am. And none on some days.plan accordingly. On a positive note Jonathan at the front desk was excellent . Chance of second stay? 3 out of 10

Thank you so much for the kind words about hotel cleanliness and your experience with Jonathan. I apologize that the tv and lobby music were a frustration during your stay. As business levels increase, we look forward to adding additional hours to our current concierge staffing. I hope that you will give us a second stay on your next visit to Chicago.

A good business class hotel. My higher floor river facing room had a good view, nice ambient light and decent bed. Quiet for the most part, couldn’t hear neighbors and street noise not significant like the hotels closer to Michigan Ave. Rooftop bar not a mob scene which gives the hotel lobby a more relaxed feel than LondonHouse, where nightlife dominates.

We stayed over the Labor Day weekend when the hotel was packed with a large wedding. For three consecutive days we could not get a seat at the roof top bar, despite being a staying guest. The hours for the dining room seemed a little odd, particularly when the hotel was full, and the only place for breakfast was the lobby bar (Staytion). On Sunday, when they did open the restaurant for breakfast seating (maybe enough people complained), they only opened half if the seating, so it was immediately full. The lobby staff were very friendly and professional. The room was cleaned every day. We had two queen beds, one was a little 'used' and we sank in the middle of it. On the morning we left, we had to leave at around 7am to catch the Orange Line to Midway, we could not get any breakfast in the hotel - they don't begin until 7am, and there was already a queue at the lobby bar. Excellent location on the river, easy walking to Michigan Ave, less than a block to the "L". We would stay again.
