Myself, mother and eight year old son had a blast. Very clean and so comfortable. The service was warm and inviting. Parking was close to hotel and the location is the best. My goodness at night was a beautiful sight. I stayed on the 15th floor, wow! Did not make to the rooftop bar because I don't drink, but I'm...

Located a few blocks from Lake Michigan and right under the John Hancock Tower. Nice room that was great for a business traveler. Only one restaurant and only had a donut shop/coffee bar in the am. Across from Hilton and Westin so other food options available. Small elevators so morning rush is a little congested.

Charming hotel in great location right behind the John Hancock Tower. A short walk to pretty much everything in the Gold Coast and Magnificent Mile. About a 45 minute walk to the Museum Campus for those that are more adventurous or just enjoy a nice stroll through the city. The suite was very nice and very well kept. The staff...

This is a boutique hotel. I didn't know what that actually meant until I looked up the meaning. Raffaello fits the definition. It is hip and modern and unique. Located in the heart of the Chicago attractions and next door to 360 (formerly the John Hancock building). With an amazing bed and linens, the rooms were well appointed. However, my...

We've stayed here on 3-Spring visits to the Windy City. Pros: Great location Nice staff, especially doorman Cons: Small rooms (book a double for a bit more room) Blackout drapes busted (asked 3-days to have them fixed) Very small bathrooms w/little shelf space Walk in shower clogged so you stand in your dirty water (asked 3-days to have it fixed)...

We appreciate the opportunity to hear about your experience at the Raffaello Hotel. We are thrilled you enjoyed our location and accommodating staff. However, it saddens us that the drapes, and shower did not earn your satisfaction. Our goal is to provide outstanding service and to create memorable experiences for all of our guests. From the moment we opened the door we were delighted. Tasteful modern furnishings and decor, spotlessly clean floors and walls, quality linens and small amenities that made our small but well laid out room a relaxing haven after a day of shopping and museums. Could not have asked for more and were delighted by the reasonable price. We have a new...

The reception, we found, a little strange. It just didn't seem to fit with the hotel at all. Very narrow and more budget motel looking. However, the room was perfectly fine. Had a very comfy bed, good shower and a good size. The only long mirror was up a corner behind a cupboard so completely useless. Sockets in short supply...

Stayed at the Raffaello for two nights whilst visiting Chicago. The hotel is in an older building so has plenty of character. The lobby is small but perfectly formed with a Glazed and Infused concession - seriously good donuts! Our room was large considering this is a city center hotel and included all amenities. The bathroom was a little on...

Reasons to choose this hotel: Location: its right next to the Hancock Centre and all the shops on Michigan Avenue. The bar: The Drumbar is on the 18th floor and has a roof terrace if you're visiting in the summer. You can't charge drinks to you're room so I guess it is not owned by the hotel but it is...

We enjoyed the ambience of an older building outfitted as a hotel. We rented the Grand Suite for four nights for myself, my wife and our 17-year-old son. The suite was spacious, and had large flat-screen TVs. The bathroom was well-equipped, but small, due to the limitations of an older building; not a problem for us. Staff were consistently courteous...

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
