Friendly staff, beautiful decor, everything in the room worked, and the controls were easy to us and in the right place. No searching for the AC, etc. One exterior window opens. Nice view. Fast elevator. Quiet hallways due to thick carpet. Spacious room. I've worked in, or visited, twenties countries, and I rate this hotel with five stars.
We are frequent guests and adore the staff, location, service and ambience. They always meet high expectations and strive to be excellent. The service, friendly, energetic, personable always excellent, from valet to door, to bellman to front desk to restaurants, everyone is super. Thank you for yet another great experience, worth the price.
An absolutely stunning location with great views, very well renovated rooms but what makes this hotel shine even more is how well it is run. Staff are incredibly warm and anticipate needs. Restaurant has very good food at all times. Couldn't think of anything that could be improved! The size of the hotel also helps as with less rooms you can run a more unique hotel. Definitely would pick over the Ritz across the street!
The stay was perfect! I love this place! The service was great and the amenities are wonderful. I definitely recommend staying here! Also very close to shopping and restaurants to explore. 5 stars for sure!
Honestly, one of the best hotels I have stayed in globally which is a big statement. Everyone there is so nice and friendly and it just gave me positive vibes. The rooms are amazing. I was surprised and very impressed. Rooms are super clean with amazing views as well as spacious. Bathrooms are huge and super fancy. The technology in the rooms are also super cool. Privacy and service buttons with different controls for the lights. Room service was also good although expensive. This is truly a 5 star hotel. I have always thought that Mandarin was the best hotel experience I have had but Park Hyatt in Chicago made me rethink some things. It is possibly equal if not better. The service here is insanely good. From front desk staff to housekeeping to the people that greet you in the entrance. Everyone was just so amazing and pleasant to speak to. Good job Park Hyatt staff for a wonderful experience. I will gladly stay here again when I find myself in Chicago again which will probably be very soon. I will also recommend friends and family to stay here. There isn't a single con that I can think of for this hotel which is rare. It was a near perfect stay. Building is very well maintained and super clean. At checkout the person who greets us at the entrance helped get us a taxi and also helped us with the bags so I am grateful for that. I could go on and on about how good the hotel is but the list wouldn't end! Props to all the Chicago Park Hyatt staff.…
Renovated and beautiful. Just what you'd expect from a high end hotel stay. Highly recommended and I can't really say enough. Breakfast was excellent. Service was highly attentive - from the doorman, front desk, concierge, and dining staff.
If you haven't been to the newly remodeled Park Hyatt Chicago since its reopening you are missing out. The staff at this hotel has always been top notch but they are now working in an environment that matches their service. The rooms are bright and every detail has been thought through. Make sure to spend time visiting with Parker the Pug as well. A highlight of every visit.
My husband and I recently stayed here with our 4mos old baby and we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is in pristine condition. We loved our room, spacious bathroom, and lake view. The staff was also really welcoming and helpful. I only wish that our room had a tub in addition to the lovely shower. Also, and maybe this is a strange complaint but... the late night menu was a little too "high brow" for us (sometimes you just want a late night fries, am I right?) We loved our stay so much that we extended it for an extra night, and we will definitely be back!
I’m sensitive to fragrance / noise / materials, and hotels can be really tricky for me. I often book something only to have to leave due to overwhelming fragrances or thick cut carpet in the room. I usually stay at the Peninsula or Four Seasons, but after seeing photos of the Park Hyatt renovation and noticing the wood floors in the room, I thought Id try it this time. Wow. It’s excellent. The lobby renovation is gorgeous. Fresh and elegant and modern. And, for anyone else who is sensitive: they’re not pumping a “branded” synthetic fragrance into the air (as so many hotel properties are now doing). The guest room is a 10/10. The design is beautiful and calming. The lighting is smart. The closet is perfectly configured. The bathroom and soaking tub are heaven. The bed, the pillows, the robes and even the towels are magic. Every last detail was considered. And it all feels brand new. Service so far is outstanding—just as good as the Peninsula, if not better. Couldn’t be happier with my choice to stay. Highly recommend.…
You get what you pay for, but in a positive sense. I travel almost every week and Park Hyatt has become my home away from home. Excellent overall and the reason why I became a World of Hyatt loyalty member. Kind staff, top notch facilities, and comfortable beds.
