Intercontinental is my hotel of choice, I am recognized as a Platinum Elite member at check-in and they always upgrade me if they have it available Room was comfortable and quiet - upgraded to the 31st floor with a new view of Michigan Ave when the fog cleared - a little noisy for sleeping because it faces the street and...

Hotel is central to everything. Bell Hops are attentive and caring. Front end had a lot of knowledge. Should mark what floor pool is on outside the elevator, not just on the inside. This hotel is very comfortable with all the amenities you need. Never have to leave with Starbucks and the Michael Jordan restaurant right there.

Enjoyed my stay. Service from front desk check-in, to breakfast, on through bell hop as I was leaving, was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great and you don't want to miss the 23 layer chocolate cake.

Having never been to Chicago, the Intercontinental was a wonderful first time hotel. It is exquisitely located on the Magnificent Mile of Michigan Street and the staff were wonderful. While the hotel is a little aged, the rooms are fresh, clean, and the showers are lovely. Had an amazing time and I would come back!

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Chicago attending a friends wedding. The hotel is in a great area and within walking distance of some great places such as The Purple Pig, Millennium Park and all the shops. The room was clean and well presented. My only complaint would be that there was only ice on the 7th floor,...

A great location for all Chicago activities, with friendly concierge staff to fill in the blanks for transportation and entertainment questions. Stayed on the tower side with a nice city view, comfy beds and plenty of outlets and charger stations throughout the room. VERY quiet. Prompt and courteous room service every day. The fitness center was outstanding, as is the...

Everything is good especially the Michael Jordan restaurant. However, a bottle of complimentary water is expected these days and age especially for high-end hotels such as this one. Other than that everything else is good. Great location.
