Discover the difference between a hotel and a Hyatt when you stay at our incomparable downtown hotel. Set within the epicenter of the city, our AAA Four Diamond Hyatt Regency Chicago is conveniently located in the heart of the downtown Chicago, connected to the Illinois Center and within minutes of the Magnificent Mile and Navy Pier.
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
Beautiful hotel, very accommodating. Room could use an update, but they are very clean and have nice amenities! I needed a mini fridge to store my baby's milk and they brought me one up at midnight-great service.
Beautiful Hotel in the heart of Chicago. Great service as always from Hyatt. Rooms were very clean, bathroom was pretty and updated. As it was a day on foot for shopping we left our car with the valet and were able to have them bring the car back to us to load it with packages and then they re-parked it for us. Though they were quite busy everyone in the Valet department had a smile on their face and gave excellent service. Very easy way to park. Overall, excellent nights stay!
My colleagues and I attended a conference within the hotel and had a great experience. Everything was clean, well maintained, and I loved that we were could walk to an endless amount of restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions.
I stayed for 2 nights this week: it was my first stay in this 2,000 room hotel. They were friendly and efficient at check in despite managing a huge conference. They gave me a room on a high floor with a partial view.; it was very clean and the bed and shower were very good. I used the gym twice and it is good; plenty of machines and there is no one in the evening (it closes at 10pm). I had breakfast in the atrium which is very busy but very efficiently run, coffee is served as you sit down...the choice is excellent and they make great omelettes. Niggles: The desk in the bedroom had a chair that you can’t adjust and the mirror for make up in the bathroom does not pivot so hard to use but apart from that it is all very good and staff are friendly. I did not give it a 5 because there was nothing “wow” about the hotel but it is a good 4.
The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Every staff that we encountered was helpful and friendly; from the check in staff, to housekeeping, to our waitress at the hotel free standing bar, to the valet. Our room was clean and spacious and the bed was oh so comfortable! I would stay here again on my next trip to Chicago; location was very conveniently located and in walking distance to many Chicago sights.
