We had a three day convention and enjoyed the central location of the hotel for evening forays in downtown Chicago. A great restaraunt just down the river is the Mercadito. Setsons (in the hotel) is okay but if you want a great steak head up State to Gibsons. This was aa great venue an would love to come back.

Our family has stayed here every year for the last 8+ years. What does that tell you? We have never had a bad experience here with staff. Take advantage of the Regency Club! The staff there are wonderful!

I traveled to all east 40 hotel locations this past year and this was the best so far. The room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet. I highly recommend. If I go back to this area, I will use this hotel again.

Stayed here as part of a conference so my experience was well beyond basic hotel stay. Staff was very friendly & helpful but some catering issues could have been better with some additional communication. I had 2 guest rooms - one where I was staying and the other a hospitality suite. When I arrived they had removed the bed from...

The rooms are good - 4/5. The room service was comically bad. We paid $470 for a breakfast that was Coffee for 10 people (a large starbucks style self serve thing), 10 orange juices, 10 pastries and some jam and a bowl of fruit. I could no believe the price and thought more must be on the way, but when...

Not normally a Hyatt Regency fan, but this one is quite nice. The plentiful staff were very helpful even if you did not need it. The restaurants and bars are above average. The convention space is a bit odd and seems small because of the low ceilings.

I spent a few days at the Hyatt Regency this week. I was attending a conference for work that was help at the hotel. There are a lot of bars and restaurants on property which was nice. The food was good and the atmosphere was high energy. The reason for the mid-range review is the guest room age. It needs...

I particularly didn't...

Was there for a conference and didn't stay overnight. Noted that they had excellent choices for sit down restaurants to conduct a meeting, nice grab-n-go spots for a quick meal. There were plenty of work stations with power in the lobby or skywalk which were nice. Upscale and beautiful hotel. About a 10 minute ride from Union Station.
