I love it here stay at least once a year ,I booked and paid for my room a year in advance. But I had no view at all ,just a brick wall. I thought I would have been given a better room ,since I booked a year in advance.

Dear Michael L; Thank you for your continued patronage! The location of the room in the building depends on the type of room you book. Many guests prefer inside rooms as they are quiet, while the outside rooms are not as quiet due to traffic. When you book your next stay please call us directly and we can assist you... More

Overall stay was just okay. Room was clean, but floor was uneven and stairs and elevator were small. Breakfast was very basic with nothing special. Biggest complaint was the front desk personal, they weren't very helpful when asked for information. We actually found the front door people more helpful and very friendly.

Dear Terry M; Thank you for choosing the Days Inn Chicago for your stay in Chicago. We truly value your feedback. Since this is an older residential building we are limited in changing the layout and size of stairwell and elevator. I’m making the chief engineer aware of your comments regarding the floor so that we can address any issues... More

We stayed here for 4 nights on our Chicago trip the hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. The area has bars and restaurants nearby and we found it easy to get around using train and bus. From the airport you can take the blue line to Logan square and 7 bus stops right outside

Don't know if all the rooms are as good as the one I had but it was huge with a walk-in closet, separate desk area and a fair sized bath. There is but one small elevator in this 3 story place but most will only use it when dealing with luggage. Ask for a room facing the street. I wasn't... More

We were aware that this hotel has a good reputation but it exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately we arrived a day late because our flight had been delayed by bad weather. Maybe this is why we were upgraded to a larger room with more facilities. Everything was immaculately clean. We found the area vibrant and interesting with plenty of shops and... More

Thank you for reviewing Days Inn Chicago. We are so pleased to learn that your expectations of the hotel were exceeded! Occasionally, we are not able to fill all of our business class rooms, & when this happens, we choose to upgrade random guests to larger rooms with no additional charge. We are delighted that you were pleased with the... More

The hotel is not downtown, but that was never a problem. Chicago has a very good public transportation system that will save you a bundle as opposed to cabbing it. This is an older hotel that has been well maintained. The housekeeping department does a great job keeping the rooms and common areas very clean. Entry to the elevator, stairways,... More

I stayed at the Days Inn on 644 Diversey Parkway in Chicago for two nights in May. This hotel was rated as a 2 Star but I would definitely rate it as a 3 star. We booked a block of rooms at this hotel for our wedding, and our friends and family all really enjoyed it. It's affordable, definitely nicer than your average Days Inn, and it's in a great, central location.
