I recently stayed at the Inn of Chicago for a work trip. The staff was very friendly and courteous however, the rooms were so tired and dated. I was up towards the top in a corner room and was hoping for so much more than it was. While clean, that wasn't an issue, everything was very old; even the mattress....

This is an older boutique hotel but in the BEST location in Downtown Chicago. Our room was on the 21st floor overlooking the Magnificent Mile. The room is very simple, with a refrigerator (no microwave). Beds were comfortable. The staff was fantastic. No issues encountered. Very affordable in a great location. Within walking distance to shopping, attractions, restaurants and bars.

Good location for downtown walking tour. Large pick up truck parking was available by the valet and vehicle was close and accessible. Hotel was nice enough and I feel I received my moneys worth. Its what I expected.

Stayed here during a conference. Room is fine, if outdated, but that's okay for the cheaper price. The main problem was the bathroom. The floor was dirty and a little sticky - like needs a good scrubbing not just sweeping. The mirror had black marking all around the outer edge. There is also a lack of consistency. I had a...

Great location, good service, outstanding housekeeping staff but a tired product. Hopefully will catch up with the Red Roof Inn up the street and upgrade soon. Very close to the action of the mile and the Navy pier.

The hotel staff was wonderful, they upgraded our room at no charge. The room was clean but out dated. The pull out couch was very worn out. The Hotel itself was in a great location in town...can easily walk to many places.

Der Kobokun- Thank you so much for staying with us at the Inn of Chicago. We do hope you enjoyed the city and your stay. We do not advertise refrigerators in the room as it is not one of our standard amenities. If you happened to have one in your room, it was left there from a previous guest and...
