I always try to stay here when I am in Chicago. As a platinum Marriott member, I really like the Blackstone's proximity to my company's office on Michigan. The Spanish tapa restuarant. Mercat, is excellent and the club level service is very good. Norma did a really nice job.

This hotel used to be my go-to in Chicago: 1. Compared to other hotels in the Loop, it's very accessible. If you're driving in from Midway (as I do) you don't have to wade through the madness of downtown to get there. 2. It's classy. I'm no interior decorator, but the whole operation is modern and functional while retaining some... More

Beautiful hotel right across from Grant Park & close to everything. Kristina at the front desk was super accommodating upon checking in and went above and beyond to make our trip special while visiting Chicago.

I used reviews on TripAdvisor to help pick a hotel which is what led me to pick the Blackstone. In hindsight, I wish I had chosen another hotel. Overall the staff, housekeeping and service was very good. The hotel and room including the restaurant were just average. Sometimes its the little things like the TV remote that didn't work, no... Writing this review after being here for a few hours.... The bathroom door gives little privacy (it is somewhat see through), they don't have free wifi (first time I've stayed in a hotel without free wifi), and no microwave. Other than that it is pretty nice and very clean.

My husband and I to stay here this week for a short staycation. The place is amazing. I want to give a shout out to Norma Munoz, the Hubbard Lounge Attendant. She was super friendly and helpful. We showed up after the breakfast hours and she graciously got us fruit and bagels and even made fresh coffee - that doesn't... More

Visited over 2 nights with a friend for a girls getaway. Got this hotel through Priceline Express deals for $125/nt (advertised rate was $198)..a huge steal! The hotel is located on South Michigan Ave right across from Grant Park, however is a little ways to walk to the river & the main strip of Michigan Ave for shopping. Location wise,... More

I stayed here several years ago on business and still have friends who work for Marriott who allowed me to use a Friends and Family form which saved us about $50,00 and I am grateful for that as the city was hopping with the Taste of Chicago taking place. Valet parking was $67 and we opted for that because we... More

The lobby has character and the rooms are well decorated and clean. The on site restaurant Mercat is great and they offer good options for room service. If you have status with Marriott you'll have access to the great lounge on the top floor which includes evening snacks, desert and morning breakfast.
