Nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms. Location is excellent in a safe and nice neighbourhood of downtown. Toaster wasn't working for all the days we stayed there. Ms.Flo at recption was helpful. Breakfast area gets chaotic and crowded in the mornings. Staff there aren't very welcoming or cheerful. They could provide 24 hrs coffee for the amount they charge per night. Overall a good hotel to stay though.

I’m disappointed with the quality of this new hotel on my wedding night. I will tell family and friends not to stay here and advise you to do the same. There are other hotels in the area that are less expensive and just as convenient.

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and in a great location. It was easy to navigate, breakfast was busy and at times hard to find seating but not unexpected. I would most definitely stay again.

If you want a measure of how safe and clean this hotel is, check out the breakfast buffet in in the morning and see how dirty it is. The quality of the food is especially bad. One of the towels in my room when I checked in had brown caked matter on it, folded into the towel and the staff is hit and miss in helpfulness, cleanliness and knowledge. The blackout shades in my room were broken in a closed position and no one was monitoring guests coming into the hotel going to the elevators. It is not a nice welcoming place.

My stay at the Hyatt was fantastic! The rooms were spacious and clean, the free breakfast buffet had a large variety and everything was delicious, and the staff were kind and efficient. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Stayed at The Hyatt Place Chicago / Downtown - The Loop for one night a couple nights ago. Hotel was excellent. Front Desk staff was friendly and efficient; housekeeping was same. Food at breakfast was just fine, and location was perfect for my meetings (easy walk). Would happily stay there again.

We had to ask multiple times to receive additional bedding for our family member sleeping on the sleeper sofa. We were given poor quality bedding and very minimal pieces. Our bags were also tagged incorrectly by the front desk and when we returned for them they brought us someone else’s bags. We were given attitude about the situation even though the staff was who tagged them. I love Hyatt but was disappointed in this location.

Absolutely had the best 6 night stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff was amazing especially Mgr Irwin, Natalie, Deanna, Ana, Lucia, Raquel, Inna, Diannsa and the Asst GM Sophia. We were treated so very special we were sorry we had to leave. Beautiful huge room, great breakfast, perfectly temperature pool, a 24 hour gym that my son was in daily, ample choices and food at the free breakfast buffet. We were spoiled and everyone was so friendly, helpful and nice. Highly recommend this hotel in a safe, convenient location
