My husband and I went to Chicago from Minneapolis on a road trip to celebrate a babymoon. We are expecting our baby in Jan. When we arrived, we found self parking which is $55/day, compared to valet at $75/day. We walked across the st to Loews and carried our bags with. We waited in line for a check in specialist to help us. As it turned to become our turn, a couple cut the line and went to the receptionist and we were ignored by another that just got done with another party checking in. We finally got checked in, and compared to the others checking in, no one asked us if we'd like help carrying our bags up to the room for us. We just wanted to get to our room and then relax. When we got in our room, we noticed used kleenex by the bed. Completely gross for a luxury hotel to not hold their cleanliness standards a little higher. The next surprise was we heard a slamming door next door to our room. A little later we heard fighting audible and a guy walking out very upset. We left for dinner and later returned around 10pm. I was going to shower and found hair in the shower and the sink. My husband found stains in the toilet. We tried calling the reception desk because this was uncalled for. We had enough after the kleenex, stains, hair and fighting. We left in the morning, my husband checked out and addressed these concerns because I was so disappointed and got the car. Then more then 5 hours later, we got a call from the hotel asking if we were gone or needed a late check out. We certainly checked out. I called back and they were so confused and said we certainly did check out but they never asked if we were satisfied with our stay. I was thinking they would have because of addressing our issues. At least they were nice and understanding that we had been long gone and didn't need any late checkout.

My stay at the Lowe's Chicago Hotel was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel's prime location in the heart of downtown Chicago allowed for easy access to some of the city's most iconic landmarks and attractions. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the attentive and courteous hotel staff, who made me feel welcome and attended to my needs throughout my stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, allowing me to quickly settle into my room. The Lowe's Chicago Hotel provided an ideal combination of luxury, convenience, and personalized service. Whether visiting for business or leisure, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a refined and comfortable stay in the heart of Chicago.

Our experience at the hotel was totally positive. The parking fee was expensive but that is true for most overnight parking. We will definitely stay there again when we visit family, but we won't be driving.

The Loews Chicago Hotel is a beautiful building with great facilities and a fabulous, responsive staff. While the parking is a little expensive, it's on par with other top tier Chicago hotels. I'll definitely stay there in the future.

I stayed at Loews Hotel Chicago with my family September 2-9. The hotel position is perfect, close to everything you need to see in Chicago and we just walked everywhere all the time with a 3 and a 8yo because everything was just so close. Navy Pier, Michigan Avenue, Millennium Park. The Hotel has a restaurant called ETA where you can have breakfast or dinner, it also has a rooftop restaurant and bar called Streeterville. There is also a very nice bar right in the hall which is open till late at night. If you are an early bird the hotel has a caffè right in front of the elevators where you can have a fast breakfast on the go. The hall is beautiful and the people who work there are very kind and friendly. One morning it was raining and they offered me an umbrella. There is also a concierge who can help you with whatever you need. The room was essential wich is perfect! 2 queen beds, household linen was changed every day. Very nice bathroom, the only unpleasant thing about it was the sliding door that wouldn’t block all the noises. The window was very big with a very nice view on Chicago skyline. It was a very good experience I would really recommend it for either business or family trip.

Beautiful, clean room with fabulous views. HOWEVER, this was overshadowed by a blatant indifference of management to the privacy and convenience of its guests. As my daughter and I were getting ready for dinner at about 5:30, two men arrived (completely unannounced) to change the lock on our door. Apparently the entire hotel was in the process of having all locks changed and reprogrammed. While we were in and out of the bathroom and trying to get changed, we had our door wide open and two men in our doorway for about 15 minutes. We were then told that our keys would no longer work and that we had to go to the front desk to get new keys. On our way back from dinner at 8:30, we did just that, but those keys didn't work. Two more trips down to the front desk to have our keys reprogrammed and still they didn't work. Since the woman at the front desk was entirely indifferent to the situation, I was able to find a number to text for help. Someone showed up at our room about ten minutes later. He couldn't figure out how to get our keys to work, either, so finally he just let us in with a master key. By this time it was after 9pm. We never did get keys to our room that worked. When I complained the following morning, I was told that lots of people had been inconvenienced by this process. This indifference was shocking. With so many nice hotels in the area, I'll be sure to NEVER go here again. This time it was the locks. What will it be next time? Don't risk it. Management doesn't care. Go somewhere else.

Although I've been to Chicago several times, I had never stayed at this hotel before. The convenience of the location, the amenities and close distance to activities was amazing. I really enjoyed the hotel.

Property was beautiful and elegant. The staff was great. I was looking for amenities, like hot tub, spa, steam but they had none of that. This place wasn’t really for a couple looking for a fun weekend! I read 4 star hotel, and assumed they had a hot tub and a bit more amenities. The location of the building was fantastic. Great restaurants around location
