A group of 12 of us rented the first and second floor of this building this past weekend and I can't say enough about how great it was. Teri was very available for any questions from the time we booked to after our stay. I...More

Oh-- I am so happy you enjoyed the place!!!! And how easy was that to walk from the house over the Buffett concert--no cab fees, no parking fees, and you can enjoy a cocktail (or 2) without having to worry about driving!
And it's great...More
My friends and I love this place, and we will keep coming back. We have rented the house on West Newport three times. It is close walking distance to Wrigley Field, where we have gone each time for either a concert or Cubs game. We...More

Ah--serene courtyard is right! Not commonplace to have such lush green surroundings; you almost forget you're in Chicago when you sit back there! It's the perfect respite from all the city hubbub. Thank you for the post and I look forward to having you all...More

WAAAAAY better than a hotel room---it's a real HOME!! Don't know how anyone would go back to staying in a hotel after staying in a vacation home, especially if it's equipped with all the comforts of your OWN home--which is what I try to do....More
My wife and I rented this lovely home for a week and had a great time. It's about a 15 minute walk to Wrigley and in a safe, quiet neighborhood. For the days that we wanted to go downtown, the L was about 2 blocks...More

Thanks David! Yep, it's a cozy place all right, but everything you need to be comfortable is there! I love that little apartment--and yes, perfectly located on a safe, quiet street, but walking distance to so much! I look forward to having you stay again!...More
Our four-generation family used two apartments as the accommodations hub for my son’s wedding weekend. Given the comings and goings of everyone throughout the days and evenings, the most welcomed amenity was the very generous supply of dishes, glassware and cutlery. "No one" [me] needed...More

So glad it worked out for the entire family and you're right--no one needs to be doing dishes all day!!! Nothing more frustrating than renting a home with minimal serving ware, so I load those places up! :o) Maybe the next time y'all come back...More

This energetic sub-neighborhood, part of the larger Lakeview neighborhood, has a split personality. In the daytime you can stroll along its streets and enjoy a quiet meal, shop for gifts, walk along the row homes or sit peacefully in Graceland Cemetery. After dark, the neighborhood springs to life. Go bar-hopping along Addison and Sheffield Avenue or join the crowd at the historic Wrigley Field for live music. If there’s a
Chicago Cubs baseball game in town, be prepared. Cubs fans can get a little rowdy and may prove to be a bit overwhelming if you're not expecting it.
