Great location. In the middle of Chicago. Staff are lovely. Very clean. Rooms are impeccable. Comfy. BUT...if you’re considering staying because of the free HOT Breakfast option, don’t. Due to COVID Restrictions, they only offer a boxed, cold breakfast with a bottle of water: mini bagel, 2 cold hard boiled eggs, mini fruit yogurt and a small banana. No coffee. No Juice. Nothing else. Also, their cleaning staff is limited. So during your stay, don’t expect a clean/done up room everyday.

Hotel's Favorite
Last minute booking after managing to get an late leaving flight a day earlier than expected so booked "on the day". Chose this hotel is is by a Blue Line stop from the airport. Arrived fairly late in the evening and was greeted at reception by a lovely smiling face. Straight to my room after grabbing one of the free coffees that are available 24/7. Room has been remodelled since I first stayed and looks great. Good wifi speed and bed was wonderful (slightly firm but I prefer that) and slept well. Usual breakfast buffet selection that is available at Hampton's and replenished well when things were running short. Would stay there again as right by the Monroe Blue Line stop from O'hare

The staff were helpful and friendly. I didn’t arrive until 1 am, but I had called ahead to let them know about the late check-in. The man at reception had my room keys ready to go, which allowed me to get to the room ASAP. Another staff member was able to give me directions and recommendations. They also held my bags for a few hours after check-out. As for location, you can’t beat it. It’s a few blocks off of Michigan Ave. and connected to the theater.

This was our first stay at this hotel, good location in the Loop by the Chicago Theater and State Street shopping. The staff is extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. Valet greeted us upon arrival and had our car all set to go with our bags in it when we checked out. The elevators are a little slow and you need your key to get access to your floor. It's great for safety but difficult if you're using a digital key on your phone! I was disappointed in our room because it had a really strong musty smell combined with a soap smell. I tried turning on the fan along with spraying some perfume but it didn't really help. I was also expecting the same style of comforter that they have at other Hampton Inns which are super comfy and fluffy, but these were flat along with the pillows. It's a nice size room and the bathroom was big. The shower curtain needs to be cleaned or swapped out because it also smelled badly. I also had issues with the internet connection going in/out on my phone. We enjoyed the breakfast, they actually had fruit smoothies! The oatmeal is always a good choice and they had different flavored hot teas which was a bonus!

We're happy to hear you enjoyed your stay overall, however we would be amiss if we didn't express our disappointment this was not the stellar stay we had intended to deliver. We have taken the points shared into consideration and will use these in our improvement efforts to take our guest experience to the next level. Thank you again for your candor, and we hope the next time you visit the area, you'll consider staying with us again.

Our night here was wonderful. Every person on staff was helpful and kind. From helping me find a store to buy mascara to wishing me a good day as we passed in the hallway, we felt welcome and not just another guest passing through. The room was large and inviting with ample space and, for those with teens, three mirrors (2 with outlets)! The beds were comfortable and breakfast had options for omnivores and vegans. Highly recommend!!
