I came with 15 friends and had a blast. This place is a great affordable alternative to staying in w hotel. They have private rooms, 10 bed rooms & everything in between. I will definitely be coming back!

This Hostel is a gem! Located steps from Wrigley Field. Bright, comfortable and unbelievably clean. Matched with the perfect staff, who are friendly, patient and always available. This place is a home run, even when the Cubs are out of town! I stayed here for a week and it was just what I needed.

I wish I was able to stay here longer. The area is AMAZING...very safe, near an L station, and a Dunkin, Starbucks, and Subway a two minute walk away. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was a nice size. I was excited to eat the hyped "Pedro's Pancakes," and they did not disappoint (he also made delicious waffles)!...

Was very happy with my stay. I was traveling with 3 friends (which meant we got the whole 4 person dorm to ourselves) and we all had a great time. The common spaces are amazing! We met people from all over the world and got to play pool and cards against humanity with them. The staff was beyond helpful. Anything...

It's a regular hostel. You can spend a safe night there and eat a breakfast (not tasty, but free). Pros: -relatively cheap -clean -free breakfast -close to the metro and has a great location in an authentic Chicago neighbourhood -wifi Cons: -It lacks a personality big time, it has nothing to remember it by - at the times of numerous...

Stayed here for 2 nights, and I've had a great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful, room 8 (8 bed female dorm) was big enough and clean, common room has a pool table, bar area and a big couch with tv. Breakfast was nothing special: coffee, tea, pancakes, waffles, fruit etc., I didn't expect more for the price...

I was lucky enough to be here over the weekend of the Ireland v NZ rugby and the Cubs World series win!! A wonderful time to be in Chicago anyway, but I really enjoyed my time here at the Wrigley Hostel. It's a 2 minute walk from Addison station on the redline and surrounded by bars and places to eat....

Let me start by saying that this hostel will best suit broke college kids who are just traveling to party and aren't concerned about accommodations as much as they are the experience. I have been staying in hostels for 10 years now for solo travel, family vacations, and traveling with friends and boyfriends (I would say at least 50 hostels...

I've stayed in most of the hostels in Chicago and I can say that Wrigley is the best. Wrigley is steps away from Wrigley Field (hence the name). A stay includes two great common areas (basement entertainment room and outside deck), breakfast, and loads of suggestions on things to do. The cleaning lady is constantly cleaning and the property is...

Staying in Wrigleyville

Neighborhood Profile
Wrigleyville
This energetic sub-neighborhood, part of the larger Lakeview neighborhood, has a split personality. In the daytime you can stroll along its streets and enjoy a quiet meal, shop for gifts, walk along the row homes or sit peacefully in Graceland Cemetery. After dark, the neighborhood springs to life. Go bar-hopping along Addison and Sheffield Avenue or join the crowd at the historic Wrigley Field for live music. If there’s a Chicago Cubs baseball game in town, be prepared. Cubs fans can get a little rowdy and may prove to be a bit overwhelming if you're not expecting it.
