I absolutely love staying at the University club of Chicago. I love Chicago but finit hard time to leave the club because it is so relaxing and the food is delicious. All the staff is wonderful at the club- Front desk, Bell staff, waiters, housekeeping, and spa. I love the options of eating in the various dining rooms. The pool... More

I stayed at the U Club while in Chicago on business. It is a beautiful and well-maintained building in the Loop. They have full workout facilities, which I used, and a pool, which I didn't use. It is located across the street from Millennium Park and the Art Institute. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra is just around the corner. I stayed... More

I stay at the University Club once or twice a year. It's always a great experience. The guestrooms have been recently renovated. The food and drink are outstanding. The ambience is first class in every way. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because of noise. Sounded like tapping on pipes in the early morning (6:30am) hours... More

This hotel is absolutely charming! I have stayed in almost all of the 5 star hotels in Chicago - but I will be staying here from now on! Although I'm in my 30s, I really appreciate a more traditional decor as opposed to the new, modern ikea look that seems to be taking over the nicer hotels these days! The... More

Location! Location! Comfort, service, amenities were the best. If I have a chance to visit Chicago again, this is where I would stay AGAIN. The bed was very comfortable. Very quiet too. The concierge was very helpful booking tours and any thing else we needed. Awesome experience!

This hotel epitomizes old world grandeur and it is located right in the middle of the loop--just across the street from the Art Institute. The service is impeccable. The rooms are updated and the facilities are wonderful.. Short walk to a variety of Chicago tourist sites. The conference rooms were excellent!

This is an older hotel. Very quaint, in downtown. My room was clean, mattress comfortable, and quiet. My main complaint was no transparent window in room. It was heavily frosted. Could hardly tell it was light out. I have never stayed in a room like this, even dorms have real Windows. I didn't know how much this would bother me... More

This is a beautiful, old hotel located at the intersection of Monroe Street and Michigan Avenue. It is across the street from Millennium Park, Grant Park, and the Art Institute Chicago. The front desk staff and the doormen were professional and very helpful. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and there were sufficient electrical outlets for electronics. There... More

Perfect location - both for business and tourism visits, beautiful classic building, great service - starting with booking up to late check out. Rooms are very clean and available in 3 options of rooms. I was staying in the cheapest one - it was small but still very nicely decorated and comfortable. For those who like historic, classy sites. Good... More
