Second time at this property in 2018. During January had a great stay and despite a 10pm arrival and seemingly low hotel occupancy, a room upgrade could not be provided. During my recent May 2018 stay, we waited for 50-minutes (yes, FIFTY minutes) for the...More
Close to airport - with an airport shuttle. Like 5 Min. Rooms are big too. And clean.
The reason for the second review is the bartender - she reminds me of Svetlana from Shameless - if you get the reference you will laugh when you...More
Nice concierge level, good selection of items, pulled pork, relishes, cheese and more. You pay for drinks here. Everyone was friendly. Good bar area. Shuttle pickup every half hour to airport. Bathroom was large.
This is a suites hotel so it’s different than a normal renaissance. If you know that you won’t be disappointed. Very clean, the staff is very friendly, the lobby is really nice, the self-parking was convenient with a low fee added, and there’s a Starbucks...More

Lori, I think it's only about 16 miles, but the amount of time depends on the traffic. It can take 45 minutes sometimes. Anytime you want to know the distance between places, the fastest way to find it is to go to mapquest and type in the addresses of the two locations and ask for directions. It will give you the route and the mileage. I Googled the address for DePaul University, then clicked on "directions" and added the address for the hotel. That way, you don't have to wait 8 hours or longer for someone to see your question and answer you. :)
