The suites are very large and comfortable. I like that they provide AVEDA products. There is a Starbucks in the lobby which is great. My only suggestion for improvement are the TVs, small and low quality.

I had stayed at this hotel before it was remodeled, and it is much nicer now. The hotel is very comfortable and quiet despite the fact that it is on the descent path for planes into O'Hare. I found that fascinating and enjoyable but that may not be for everyone. I only have one complaint--the shade in our bedroom was...

Dear Sally1382; Thank you for staying with us again and I am so glad you enjoyed the the changes from our renovation. Also, thanks for the feedback regarding the shade in your room. We have fixed it and it is ready for the next guest to enjoy the views of the planes coming in and out of O'Hare. Regards, Peter

From arrival to checkout this hotel was outstanding in all areas. Coming in from O'Hare and taking the blue line to Cumberland, the location of the hotel to the Cumberland station was as convenient as it could get. (Walk towards the south walkway ramp of the station, take the elevator (or stairs) to the ground floor and the hotel is...

Stayed over whilst on an overnight connection at o'hare. The shuttle bus was quick and it was not long before we were at the hotel, very welcome after a long flight. The room was spacious, modern and clean. Great location also for the train to downtown Chicago. The only fault I could find was having to pay for wifi, despite...

Clean and friendly staff is the reason I will return to this hotel! I stay in many different hotels each month and I have to say the Renaissance is one of the best! My room way perfect and allowed me a great nights sleep. I will be back next time I'm in Chicago! Thanks!!

This hotel is a great alternative if downtown Chicago hotels are fully booked or have ridiculous prices. Its next to the Cumberland CTA station so downtown is just a quick ride on the Blue Line El. The hotel is nice, spacious and clean. But I wish the pillows were bigger. They are kid size!

We absolutely love this hotel. I have stayed here for business, when I proposed to my now wife and again this weekend when we brought the kids to Chicago for a long weekend. The all-suite rooms are spacious and the glass shower is an oasis for one or two people. The pool is moderately warm, refreshing but doesn't make you...

The hotel was ok, we stayed there for 3 nights and when we first got there the parking was really stupid. So we got inside the garage and it was so filthy and that then lead to the hotel from the outside all so confusing. We get in the hotel to the attendants desk and the price changes because of...

I understand the need to have weddings/parties with music at the hotel. But not all your guest go to bed late and sleep in. Having to wake up at 4am for work after hearing the bass from the parties music until midnight was unacceptable. Not to mention guest that can't use their indoor voice in the halls from until 4...

Management response:

Dear Jillybean364, My apologies. When you travel, you certainly have the expectation of a quiet night's rest and the hotel was not able to do so for you. Regardless of weddings/parties, music should be controlled and played at a level not interfering with guests trying to sleep. I appreciate your feedback and will review the circumstances of your experience with...

Stayed one night when flying out of ORD. Staff friendly and efficient. Great room layout and furnishings. Shuttle every half hour to airport. Shuttle to/from airport efficient and easy. Price for up to 7 days of parking was excellent. Parking ramp convenient to hotel. This was our first time at this facility but it will now be our first choice...
