Located just north of Chicago’s downtown financial and retail hubs, Lincoln Park is the city’s most charming and historically rich residential community, where tree-lined streets are dotted with a mix of million-dollar-plus homes and classic three-flat apartment buildings and sidewalks buzz with energy from families, DePaul University students, young professionals, fitness buffs, and visitors to the city. At the center of it all is Hotel Lincoln. Hotel Lincoln is an upscale boutique hotel with an eclectic-meets-collegial vibe, offering 184 guest rooms, executive meeting space, a lobby-level European-style coffee bar, a spacious rooftop lounge with panoramic views of downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan, and the acclaimed Perennial Virant – helmed by award-winning Chef Paul Virant. As Joie de Vivre’s first hotel east of the Mississippi, the property is uniquely designed to not only connect Chicagoans with iconic city gems, but also give travelers a taste of what life is really like in the packed-with-personality city.

We had a wonderful suite overlooking the lake from the 12th floor on our multi-night stay in December. Views of the Zoo Lights and the lake were incredible. Staff was very friendly, coffee shop off the lobby was great and the restaurant, The Kennison, had a stellar staff and

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience. Glad to hear that our team took great care of you and that you enjoyed the incredible view from your room. I will pass along your kind owrds about the Kennision and address the loud music issue from the rooftop. It really means a great deal to us that you understand our personal service and we try to make every interaction unique and never want to have that corporate feel. We cannot wait to see you again!

Hotel's Favorite
We initially stayed at this hotel because it was less than a mile away from our daughter in Lincoln Park. However, after having stayed for four nights there, it has easily become my favorite hotel in Chicago. Value is unbeatable, and the location is outstanding if you have a

Hi raunchmeyer, Thanks for the kind words! We are so happy you found us. Hotel Lincoln is definitely on the road less traveled, and it makes a difference! Being so close to downtown, but also across from the park and lake, makes this the perfect place for exploring Chicago. I am happy to hear we are close to family for you, and we look forward to seeing you again! Best Regards, Colin

Pros: location, location, location, and a young and friendly staff. Cons: the absurd price of a room; decor that misses being eclectic and just ends up as a bit odd; elevators that sort of work, sometimes; expensive parking; a lot of street noise. The most annoying thing about

Thanks for the feedback Xerxes. So happy that you enjoyed our location and neighborhood and that our team took great care of you. Sorry to hear you did not find your stay to be a great value. Our prices are similar to other hotels in the city offering similar amenities. As with all hotels, prices do fluctuate quite a bit depending on season and demand. We hope you come back and see us soon!

My mother and I stayed in this hotel which was conveniently located only a 10 minute Uber ride away from some great attractions. The staff was incredibly kind and upgraded one of our rooms after we brought a strange smell to their attention. Easy access to the hotel front door

Staff very professional and friendly. Upgraded us to a suite as we were staying for a week over Christmas, which was a lovely gesture. Suite very roomy. Bed really comfy and bedding very fresh. Very accommodating when asked for a fridge for medication.

Hello mkitchens, Overnight valet service with unlimited in-and-out privileges is $60 per night. From time to time we offer packages that include a discounted parking rate. Check out our website for any specials or give us a call. There is a self-park lot about 200 yards from our entrance. Parking there is $36 on weekends ($32 on weekdays) from 4 to 24-hours, but they do not offer in-and-out privileges. The cancellation policy for most reservations is 24 hours notice (3 pm the day prior to arrival) with a one night charge for cancellations within that time. Some reservations will have modified cancellation policy times or non-refundable prepayments. There is so much to see right here in our neighborhood! When venturing toward downtown, it is about a 1.5 mile walk to the north end of the Magnificent Mile. We're looking forward to having you stay with us! Feel free to give a call with any questions. -Colin

from ohare airport to lincoln hotel by public transport ?what is the easiest way please
Hi Anthony J, My colleague Pierce had a good answer to this posted previously: "Taxi or Uber is definitely the most convenient way to get to the hotel from the airport. If you are new to Uber, please feel free to use our promotion code 'HLINCOLN' when you download the app. This will get you up to $20 off your first ride. For the 'L', if coming from O'Hare airport, take the blue line to Western and then you would take the 36 bus to our hotel. If coming from Midway, take the orange line to Clack/ Lake and then transfer to bus 22. By far, Uber is much more convenient if you have much luggage as it will take you door to door without having to transfer anywhere." Feel free to call or email us if you have any additional questions! Colin

Are there refrigerators in all rooms? or just in suites? Thanks.
Refrigerators are available upon request for any room. There are a handful of one bedroom suites that have refrigerators in them. If you book one of those, simply put in a request.
