I cannot say enough about the fabulous Villa d'Citta in Lincoln Park. I originally found this gem when I was searching for wedding venues. Although I finally and begrudgingly admitted to myself that the Villa was too small for our wedding (only because we both have extremely large families), my bridesmaids put together an incredible bridal weekend at Villa d'Citta...

I'm so pleased that your friends decided to surprise you with a bridal party weekend at the Villa. Your party was one of the most touching ones that we have ever had here at the Villa, made special by your Mom and brother surprising you as well! We love having special events at the Villa whether it be a wedding,...

I can't begin to describe this place. Nestled between Wrigley Field, Boystown and Downtown, it is a $7.00 just about anywhere you want to go if you're lazy like me or the red line is just around the corner and with a $20 3-day pass you're set! Cathy is so great. She took care of 8 of us from the...

Thank you for your kind comments. It was great to have your group stay with us at the Villa. We are indeed in a great location being only a few blocks away from the subway (the El) which will get you around town. So happy to hear that you enjoyed the breakfasts that we serve to our guests. Our usual hotel location is in or near Loop when we are in Chicago. This time, we decided to enjoy a neighborhood where locals live -- upscale, for sure. The Villa is near to DuPaul University and about 2.5 blocks from the Fullerton Avenue, Red Line station. What an easy walk to the "L" to be whisked away to downtown...

How wonderful that you found the Villa to be your oasis in Chicago! We are indeed in a great location right in the heart of Lincoln Park near some fabulous restaurants and shops. Yet downtown, Wrigley Field, and other Chicago destinations are readily at hand since we are only a few blocks to the subway station (the El). While breakfast...

This place is even better than the pictures!! We stayed in the Euro Room- which is the smallest of six rooms in this mansion. Our bathroom was down the hall, but we didn't mind at all because we were out and about (city pass in 2 days) and only needed a place to shower & sleep. It was definitely the...

It's always fun to have first time visitors to Chicago. I love suggesting things for folks to do, places, to see, and where to dine. I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Villa. The Euro room is indeed a wonderful value and one that meets the needs of many of our guests. Folks do...

This small boutique hotel is in a wonderful location in Lincoln Park and provides a luxurious retreat while visiting Chicago. Cathy, the Accommodations Director, is incredibly helpful and full of advice and suggestions for nearby restaurants. Our room, the Florencia Suite, was on the top floor (there is a small elevator) and was just as pictured on the web site....

What a wonderful experience we had staying at the Villa D'Citta! My husband and I can honestly say that it was one of the best accommodations we have had and wished we could have stayed longer. This B & B is a luxurious, Italian-style villa that truly feels like your home away from home. From the moment we walked in...

This B&B is by the far the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. It's walking distance from the Lincoln Park Zoo, North Beach, Shedd aquarium, Chicago Historian Museum and great dining is just a plus. Kathy and the staff treat you like family. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the accommodation's make you feel right home.

Located on a nondescript block near DePaul University, this was a big hit with us. The room was beautiful with plenty of space and lovely furnishing. It even had a gas fireplace. We reserved a spot in Villa d'Citta after discovering that hotel rooms in downtown Chicago were starting at $600 a night--and those were for mediocre hotels.
