There was A LOT going on upon our check in on 12/02/23 (check outs and arrivals), yet Angel Garcia made us feel like we were the only ones in the lobby. He was very professional, efficient and accommodating. He shared things that were going on in the hotel and city and just made us feel welcomed. Our room was magnificently perfect. Upon our check out, Angel remembered our names & room number and was really interested in our stay and what we did in the city. I don't usually leave comments, but Angel's hospitality was genuine and we will definitely return and hopefully Angel Garcia will be on shift when we do. Thank you Angel for adding that special touch kindness to our weekend.

Hotel's Favorite
Beautiful hotel and lovely amenities. The lobby is small and discreet, and the rooms are nice and comfortable. The bed is heavenly and the soaking tub a great way to unwind after a long day being a tourist in Chicago. They don’t have coffee makers in the room, instead they have complimentary coffee and tea service through in room dinning. Housekeeping team is top notch! The room was thoroughly clean and the daily service done to perfection. My only complain is that I had to leave :)

My wife and I stayed four nights arriving on Thanksgiving Day. We arrived very early but were lucky to get into a room right away. Everything was perfect and the highlight of the trip was the kind staff. Everyone we encountered was great. We loved going to Bernard’s, where Liliana was so kind and professional. In the Peacock Lounge, Brian and Robert made our daily visit special. We took advantage of the house car which will provide transportation within a mile of the hotel property.

A spectacular entrance with a circular brick-paved drive-about complete with a flower-surrounded fountain was the greeting I got from the Gold Coast, chateau-like Waldorf Astoria, Chicago. Not to be outdone, the lobby is equally magnificent, much like entering a museum, it was filled with artworks, glassworks, elegant black & white marble, tall ceilings and natural light. I relished my Deluxe Terrace King with panoramic views of the cityscape accompanied by a black granite fireplace that injected a high degree of coziness to the environment. The pale grey palette with set-in ceilings and intricate crown moldings were in sharp contrast with the black and white fixtures throughout. The bath was beautiful with separate shower and windowed soaking tub and surprise, surprise...there was a tv hidden the vanity mirror. The Waldorf has a assortment of eating options: The Peacock Lounge features pastries, coffee ,tea and libations; Bernards Bar for small plates and custom cocktails; and the Brass Tack serves American cuisine that ranges from Filet Mignon to King salmon. I loved my signature cut Pork Chop and I couldn't resist the Banana popsicle to quench my sweet tooth. A super perk at the Waldorf is the 14000sq. ft. world class spa offering a range of personalized massages, body regimes and beauty treatments.......with emphasis on personal. The spa is full service with facilities like abundant treatment rooms, gender-separate lockers rooms with jacuzzi's, sauna's, steam/hammam's. The spa is enhanced by a heated, inviting indoor pool, a state of the art gym, and a health club offering Pilates, kickboxing and more. So, if you want to feel like royalty from the moment you arrive t'ill you depart............. .........then try the ..........Waldorf Astoria Chicago......... chateau-like opulence. …

Diamond meme era this resort is awesome! A full service hotel in the middle of downtown! I have stayed at several luxury places but the concierge team namely Kyle Sharvun and Sheryl are THE BEST! Took our anniversary over the top! The spa is so relaxing and the fireplace is worth the booking alone on a cold fall evening. Can’t wait to come back!

One bedroom was amazing. Pillows are always the best and the fireplace was pleasing. Is was cold in Chicago and the heat from the fireplace did more than its job. Concierge reaching out before our stay and coordinating the spa and dinner was very convenient. Valet service was exceptional as well as turn down service. All interaction with staff (front staff, room staff, spa staff) was more than pleasant.

Excellent friends weekend. We each had a beautiful suite which is sophisticated and comfortable. We used the fireplace and admired the city from the terraces. We had a delicious breakfast at Brass Tack and fun cocktails at Bernard’s for happy hour. We opted to have dinner elsewhere to see the city and for more vegetarian options. Rooms are spotless clean and service overall is top notch. There were minor reservation issues but resolved. My particular room had noise I believe from the elevator (I did not report). I am accustomed to very quiet surroundings normally so maybe the average person would not notice. We were on an upper floor and had no issues with street noise. Overall, no question would I stay here again. I will be seeking this hotel out in other cities on my future travels. It was nice to experience excellent service- it still exists! Stay here. …

Expectations met. Great location. Friendly, courteous, and professional staff. Only downside is a very limited in room dining, particularly for dinner menu. Items such as a pasta dish is not included even upon request. Also, the menu does not show desserts, which are available upon verbal request.
