Magnolia Studios was an excellent find! I prefer staying away from the craziness of downtown when visiting Chicago & love the neighborhoods. Magnolia Studios was extremely well located to visit Andersonville & Edgewater - the parking option was an added bonus. The studio was perfect!!...More
Magnolia Studios was a find for me and I made sure to share it with my Chicago relatives. My mother and I occupied both studio one and two. Tucked between the main house and an alley, it's pretty quiet for the urban location. Each unit...More
Private and comfortable apartment that was appointed with everything we needed through the Christmas weekend. Great neighborhood, with everything necessary close by. There was adequate parking and easy access to Lakeshore Drive.
Magical little spot behind a gracious older house - up to date amenities and thoughtful touches - chocolates - notepaper...nice neighbourhood - close to coffee shops and restaurants - private - the owners are lovely - we look forward to going back!
We stayed in the suite for 3 nights. It was perfect for our family of four. Kate was a kind host. She was accommodating in every way. We were able to access the landing area where we could grab whatever we need for our girls....More

Hello, thanks for yours and on street parking is free and unlimited which means that it does not require a permit and there is no time limit. But, spaces are not allocated specifically to guests, it is regular street parking and so spaces have to be found as they become available. You can usually find a space pretty near to us, but sometimes it can get a little busy at the end of the day when people return home from work. I usually say to use street parking if you're coming in and are going to park up and use the car infrequently. If you're going to go use the car a lot though and go in and out every day, particularly at busy times, not a bad idea to rent the garage for an additional $10 a night. It's right underneath the studios and is super convenient. Finally, there's a small municipal parking lot right by us which is free at weekends, so that's another free option if you're coming in on Friday and Saturday nights. Let me know if I can help more, I'd be happy to. Thanks so much again.
