Stayed here for 1 night for business. It's conveniently located near O'Hare airport and they have free shuttle pick ups and drop offs. After you land, call the front desk and ask them when the shuttle will arrive and they should be able to give you an accurate time. The shuttle picks up at the Bus/Shuttle Center which is located right next to the Hilton hotel. Follow the signs outside and just look for the hotel and you should be able to find the Bus/Shuttle Center. The hotel's lobby looks really nice and they have a spacious gym. The rooms are outdated and could use a renovation. TV is small and connection from remote to TV was slow. No issues with WIFI though. There were a couple of things that didn't meet my expectations. One is they have no water cooler in the gym, the first time I have ever seen that. I usually like to fill up my water bottles there but this hotel had none. Second, no free coffee in the lobby area. There is also no free breakfast, but they do have a restaurant on-site. I paid about $20 for the breakfast buffet which was tasty. They also have a little convenience store that was reasonably priced for drinks. If management could just spend a little more money to add a water cooler and free coffee, I think it would speak volumes to the experience.

Do yourself a favor and stay at the holiday inn Rosemont. Our party got mixed up about the two hotels near o’hare. Some of us ended up here while the rest stayed at the rosemont location. When we got to our room the fan was on in the bathroom and was extremely loud and was not on a switch. Then there was a sound coming from the fire alarm box and the smoke detector was missing altogether. I called the front desk who sent the maintenance person up. He looked at the missing smoke detector and asked me where it was? We had just checked in and there wasn’t one there. He said he would be back in 10 minutes to fix it. We had to leave. When we came back he had taped the vent in the bathroom and the red alarm box. Also on Friday night there was poker going on in the room right off the lobby. It was packed later in the evening. I assume the lack of parking was due to the number of people playing poker. The rosemont location was so much nicer. It has been renovated and is so much nicer than this hotel. While the employees of this hotel were very nice and accommodating, the age of the building is showing.

The room itself was fine, no complaints there. However, definitely overpriced for what is offered. No water or coffee in the lobby, seriously? With a group that rented a meeting room, to which almost no service was provided - they left the lunch in the room overnight and never did clear it out the next day! Check-in staff was friendly, but overall service for guests is lacking.

Our group of seventeen actually did the park and fly at the Crowne Plaza but unfortunately, their shuttle service when we arrived back at O'Hare was at best a horrible experience. The Crowne Plaza driver Ray treated our group like complete garbage, yelled at us and told us we were NOT his problem even though the hotel stated he would be picking up our entire group. He stated that he would be back in about an hour to get us but it would be again first come/first served. If we didn't like that, we should call Uber or some other shuttle service for all seventeen of us! He simply left us wondering what to do in 30-degree weather.
The Holiday Inn driver Adrian overheard the conversation and once the Crowne Plaza driver left, Mr. Adrian apologized for his behavior and offered to take our entire group back to the Crowne Plaza. He quickly loaded everyone's luggage and brought us back to the hotel parking lot. His caring actions not only provided him a great tip but also gained seventeen individuals that will utilize the Holiday Inn next time we fly out of O'Hare! On behalf of our entire group, thank you and much appreciation to Mr. Adrian for his services. Holiday Management - you have a wonderful gem in a sea of employees!!!

On 12/19/24 our flight was canceled after we had been standing on the runway for hours. It had been snowing and it was very cold. We rebooked our flight for 8am the next morning. It was almost midnight and we live more than an hour away, so we decided to stay at a nearby hotel with a shuttle. I have an IHG membership, and we decided to stay at the Holiday Inn O’Hare at Rosemont. We waited outside in the snow and cold for the shuttle to come. The first Holiday Inn shuttle to show up listed Holiday Inn on Cumberland Ave. I asked the driver if he went to the Holiday Inn at Rosemont and he said that he did. I asked him twice before we got on, and he said yes both times. Besides my husband and myself, there were 3 other travelers.
When we got to the Holiday Inn, an older man started yelling at our driver, telling him he should have been there a long time ago. He made a huge scene, yelling at him in front of all of us in the lobby. My husband intervened and told the older man that he needs to take the argument outside, and that it was inappropriate behavior in front of guests. The older man (identified himself as ‘Marvin’) started yelling at my husband, shouting at him to “shut the **** up, get your keys and go to your room”. Marvin eventually walked out.
The people in front of us, also from our shuttle, then found out they were at the wrong hotel. Soon, we all realized that we were all at the wrong hotel. We were at the Holiday Inn on Cumberland… Everyone on the shuttle was at the wrong hotel, in spite of us asking the shuttle driver twice if it was the right shuttle. It’s not that we got off at the wrong stop - that shuttle doesn’t go to our hotel, which is on the opposite direction from the airport. The younger driver said he would take us to our hotel, at which point the reception clerk said that he couldn’t do that because he was supposed to take a flight crew to the airport. Then Marvin came back, heard what was going on, and resumed yelling at the driver (I didn’t get his name, but I have his picture, young guy). The driver didn’t say much after that point, other than to flirt with a flight attendant who came down, telling her she looked pretty… The driver just looked at us and smirked while we fumed at him.
At first the suggestion was that we take the shuttle back to O’Hare and get the right shuttle from there. Marvin suggested that we wait for the shuttle to drop off the flight crew and then they’d take us to Rosemont. In the end, we ordered an Uber to get to Rosemont so we could get a few hours sleep before we had to go back to the airport again.
All in all we had a horrible experience that night. We were grateful to show up finally at the Holiday Inn in Rosemont, where we were greeted by a wonderful night manager named Kahan. Kahan took good care of us on arrival and made sure we got to our morning shuttle to the airport.

Clean room, needed a few repairs and updates. Outstanding staff! Lady at front desk phenomenal, friendly and helpful. Some areas of the hotel needs attention, cleaning and repairs. We prepaid for the breakfast, saved a few dollars that way. Full buffet breakfast was excellent! Scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, pancakes and more! All fresh and the appropriate temperature. Even at full $14.95 price was worth it. We had dinner one night too. Large portions and delicious meals. My burger was cooked to order my husband had the generous chicken nachos. They were busy but the service was still timely. I would have given four stars instead of five but we had horror stories from others attending the wedding. They Paid triple what we paid and had a less than satisfactory stay. Great value!

The hotel itself was nice. The restaurant called Bar Louie had terrible service and when we checked out we found out why. No matter how many people 2 or what you order is 18% tip included so no reason to give decent service. They had a half off appetizers and you actually got half an appetizer and then as far as the tip went, they charged you 18% on the full price of the appetizer. Going to find another Hotel Restaurant when we fly out of Chicago.

The hotel website boasts an airport shuttle but I waited 1 and half hours for it. As with all Americans they believe the USA is the whole planet and when I asked by email before my trip I was told to wait at door 2. This was the domestic terminal and despite phoning from the international terminal 5 times the front desk did not have a clue about the shuttle location. It apparently runs every 45 minutes but after 5 phone calls it took 90 minutes.Despite being an IHG member for over 30 years I will stay at the on airport Hilton next time. It would have also been nice to use / sit by the pool for an hour or 2 but it looked like a bomb site and was covered and locked despite temperatures of 80 degrees.

Chose this location based on proximity to the airport and convenience of having a 24 hour airport shuttle. I was only here to sleep for 3 hours. I found the facility to be clean and accurate matching it's description and pictures. Nelly checked me in and she was efficient, informational, and friendly. In our quick interaction she gave me all the information I needed on shuttle and where to get a slice of deep dish at 11 o'clock at night. Thank you to the staff of holiday Inn!
