Our office WHQ is in Willis Tower - so definitely tops the list of valuable hotel to stay at. They offer Daily continental make your own breakfast plus there's a Chipotle beside the hotel and a Starbucks across the hotel. A "Garret's" popcorn is also nearby and State St "Chicago theater sign" is also walking distance! Rooms are relatively bigger... More

Stayed here Jan 31-Feb 4. Clean, comfortable, quiet room in downtown Chicago. Friendly staff. Free breakfast was pretty good for a hotel breakfast. Lots of variety. The coffee wasn't to my liking but there is a Italian coffee bar across the street. Lots of restaurants around as well. Easy access to the train. My only complaint is there is no... More

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast selection, clean and quiet accommodations. Parking available right next door. First LaQuinta where a Kuerig was available in the room. Close to alot of downtown restaraunts and attractions.

I wasn't sure what to expect for a La Quinta Inn in the west side of the Chicago Loop. What I found was great affordability, a nice big and clean room and hot breakfast too! I would definitely stay here again.

We had a free night and chose to spend it in Chicago. I have always liked this hotel and stay here when we're in Chicago, but no more. We were in a room on the 8th floor and it was pretty yucky. The microwave turntable had a chunk of dried food on it and didn't work, the curtain was off... More

I arrived around 10:30 on a Saturday, simply wanting to drop off my bags. The staff said there might actually be a room ready for me and asked if I would like them to check. I was impressed with their efficiency and friendliness. Other perks were the indoor pool and hot tub. The continental breakfast was one of the best... More

Hotel has a great location; walking distance to many attractions. Reasonable priced, great service. The breakfast was enjoyable...the breakfast staff was friendly and the food was great. The people working in the lobby were efficient and friendly, we had our luggage stored for a few hours after checkout...no problem!

I stayed here just for one night. If you're in the market for a moderately-priced hotel with a good location, this hotel can't be beat. The rooms were relatively spacious although somewhat bland in terms of decor. A Keurig in the room was a nice touch, instead of the usual off-brand single serve coffee maker I've grown accustomed to in... More

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff was very kind, the breakfast was not so good but okay, the room was big and comfortable. The pool and the hot tub is really small but perfect after a freezing day out Chicago. The shops, cafes and restaurants close very early around the hotel so you desperately look for a working vending... More

We love LaQuinta rooms. They are large and the beds are comfortable. Our room was equipped with a fridge, coffee maker and small microwave, plus a desk work area for two. It's perfect for work travel, or fun travel when you want to save money and still work a bit.

Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city.
