Thank you Nancy and staff for an amazing experience! We had a wonderful brief get away from the fires in California. This hotel is beautiful. I recommend a top floor suite because the views are awesome from the living room, bedroom and bathroom, you'll feel like you're inside of a movie scene. The hotel is clean, they practice appropriate Covid safety and the staff is very accommodating. I was totally impressed that they carry Natura Bisse, a top of the line skin care company, for bathroom amenities. The bathrooms have a wonderful view with a state of the art bathtub and shower that made for a luxurious bath experience. The location is great because you're near the lake, great dining and awesome shopping all within walking distance. The hotel's gym is clean with state of the art equipment. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I've had visiting Chicago.

Hotel's Favorite
This was my first stay at the Viceroy and certainly not my last! The location is ideal, close to great shopping and so many dining options within walking distance. Rooftop pool is a gem and a must see! The staff go above and beyond. We love love love Charlie at the front desk... super friendly, loves his job, and a great source of knowledge. You could ask him anything and he had the answers for all. Viceroy is lucky to have him. Corrin at the pool was always so welcoming. She always had a smile on her face and was happy to see us. She clearly knows how to pamper the guests. If looking to stay in the city, I highly recommend the Viceroy.

Stayed here for a day as a break from visiting friends in Old Town. Hotel left great impression as the facilities were spotless and staff was friendly. We didn’t see anyone at valet, but thought that might have something to do with COVID procedures... I upgraded to a 1-bd suite to have extra space when friends are with us, and the room was more than what we expected — big couch/TVs, Nespresso machine, remote control curtains, ah-mazing bathroom, etc. The stay was overall pleasant except for some COVID procedures. Longer wait time for elevators as only 1 party per ride, for example, was fine since most costed extra 5~10 mins. We didn’t use the gym but heard there were procedures to follow to get in. Didn’t visit the restaurant or used room service either, as there were plenty of food choices nearby. Pool logistics on the other hand needed improvement, as we couldn’t wait at the bar with little kids for spots. It was an unusual time and the team was trying the best. Let’s hope it’ll all be back to normal soon.

The hotel is unique, small and beautiful. The roof top pool is amazing. Most rooms are small although the bathroom and shower are spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The are taking COVID protocols seriously. Unfortunately the restaurant is currently closed and there is no room service available. The valet is also currently not available. The location is excellent with many great food, coffee and shopping a short walk away.

Our favorite place to stay on many visits to this place! A true old-world hotel with all its charm and a great location. The room had a huge bed, and the bathroom was equipped with a walk-in shower, lots of hot water with great pressure. Our window looked out onto a business building and overlooked the busy street below. A truly wonderful, classic hotel!
