Ellis at the front desk really delivered extraordinary customer service. I checked into the hotel late at night after everything that could go wrong went wrong. Ellis not only executed his job with excellence, he showed genuine empathy, volunteered to help me problem solve, and even offered me some tea. He made sure that when his shift ended that his...

Booked a room on Expedia the week before Christmas when the whole city was giving rooms away. Paid $70 (normally around $170 for this hotel) Just a half block off Michigan Ave! First time staying at a Cambria and we were very impressed. Front desk upgraded us to a suite since there were so few guests that night. Much appreciated....

I hosted a conference at this hotel and I cannot recommend it more. The staff was wonderful and easy to work with and the hotel is really nice. It is well-decorated, very comfortable, and has a great feel. It's boutique-y while still being quite large. The meeting rooms are really nice and the staff for the meetings were just wonderful....

I stayed 3 nights here and it was a great spot. Just off Michigan avenue so access to lots of things within a few blocks. Room was very spacious, updated and clean. I really liked the large size. The bathroom was also quite large, but is a standing shower so keep in mind if you need a bathtub. There's a...

We loved our stay here/ The proximity to shopping was perfect, the staff was nice, and the rooms vey good (although could use a bit of a makeover). We would definitely rebook here. It was a little bit of a walk from the parks, and museums...but not horrible and there is always uber. Kids were a little disappointed there was...

This was my first time in Chicago, and I will definitely book the same hotel again in a next trip. My husband and I stayed in the hotel last weekend, and I have to say that I was very pleased with the location. The hotel is walking distance to the lake, the Magnificent mile, the Navy pier, the Art Institute...

The hotel location can't be beat for the price. That being said it faces the same problems it did when it was named Mile North, Affinia, Etc. The staff has become a lot better and are easy to deal with, big improvement there. The roof bar is still awesome with a great vibe. Problems. The elevators didn't work on time....

Stayed at the Cambria for 4 nights during the beginning of April 2017. - Easy to get to from O'hare with public transportation (Blue Line to 66 Bus which drops you off about 2 blocks awa) - Front Desk - sometimes it felt understaffed but the service was friendly - Rooms - Clean.
