Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.

I've stayed at a few of the HI's and always had a good time, and the Chicago branch did not disappoint! You do pay slightly more for the HI's BUT you pay for what you get, it is well worth paying a little bit more to have a nicer hostel, and even room for that matter! Rooms are

This is a great place to stay on budget! The hostel is secure and clean. Breakfast is included and does the trick to fill you up before heading out for the day. The bathrooms are super clean and spacious. I was expecting much since most hostels I go in the US are very basic

Stayed here for a super low rate, when we had some auditions in the city and didn’t want to spend too much. We were surprised at how nice the overall hostel is, at least for all of the main areas. There were teens hanging out with parents, seniors coming and going to concerts

Where's the closest / best place to park? I want to pay for my parking ahead of time.
I would never drive to downtown Chicago. If you can’t take public transportation all the way, park at one of the train stations and take a train in. Also called a hostel. They are very very friendly and helpful and they will tell you about parking.

Hello, I just want to know if is there a private room with a private bathroom .
There are private rooms, but I didn't stay in one, so I'm not sure if it is still a shared bathroom. There are shared bathrooms for each area of suites, so it is just across the hall and not a lot of people using each one.

"Go for the 4 person dorm - as you get a private lounge and kitchen!"
"My room had a little train noise as it passes by but I had no problem falling asleep. If it bothers you, bring ear plugs just in case."
"I only tried the dorm room. it was great, cool and clean."
"Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper - it's next to one of the train tracks. I spent three nights here and it didn't bother me at all."
"The King Room had two beds, which we pushed together. Choose a Queen Room if you want one bed."
