Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour group. I feel we should have been told of the renovations by our agents before we arrived at his hotel. Our bathroom was very small but it had been refitted up to a point. The hairdryer storage unit had not been fixed to the wall so was hanging off the...

There are not the usual amenities you expect at Best Western hotels. No breakfast available for the guests, no brewed coffee. The staff when we checked in was very abrupt and acted as if we were a problem.

First the pros: The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. That was the only good thing about this hotel. The cons: The hotel was awful, they are doing renovations but are renting the rooms before they are complete. The bathroom had some upgrades but the carpet was filthy and had pieces of drywall scattered around the room. It appeared...

I'm convinced my room sloped. The carpet was coming up in parts. The noisy bathroom extractor fan was loud and you couldn't turn it off. The housekeeping department are over eager, calling at 8:30am, and on my second night, one of my pillows disappeared! The air conditioner unit looked older than me. Also, you can hear the trains going by....

This hotel is old and is now undergoing renovation. We missed the microwave and refrigerator. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It has a good location. Taxi took us up to board the river cruise around the waterways showing the beautiful architecture of the city. Staff directed us to the restaurant area in Warbash Street. We ate at a great...

This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed it. It was under construction and I was appalled at the price per night for such accommodations. Being a Best Western Rewards member I expected much more from a Chicago area Best Western.

This hotel is in a PRIME location, however, the amount of renovations needed and the action being taken is currently unknown. The ceilings are falling apart in the rooms, the faucets in the bathroom do not work properly, and the walls are paper thin, so bring your ear plugs. This hotel is old, and needs a lot of work.

The staff are friendly and the bed was comfy but the towels were old and scratchy. Bathroom had no fan so there was a 'dampness' in it that you couldn't get rid of. Basically you needed to shower with the door open so the moisture didn't build up. Shampoo provided but no conditioner. Also no fridge in room. Basic, clean...

Where do I start? You should tell people when making a reservation that there is construction going on at the hotel and that trying to work or relax during the day would be impossible. Room 902 was so noisy. I could hear the neighbor snoring through the connecting door. It actually woke me up. The first night, I thought there...
