My husband stayed here all week for business and I joined him for the last day. I experienced a lot of the same issues I see people posting pictures of. The room overall was fine, it was the bathroom I have the most complaints of. The only complaints I had about the room was that there was no bag for...

My family and I recently spent five nights at Hotel Blake, and we could not have had a better experience. The hotel is located on Printer's Row, just a short walk from Grant and Millennium Parks. We were greeted at the door by the bellman, Showtime, who is absolutely one of the hotel's most valuable assets. One of the kindest,...

This was my first time at an Ascend Hotel. My stay was nice enough but as someone who travels often for work, I found it expensive ($250+) for what it provided. You get a decent room, shower and internet. My room looked out on a high building just next door, no view. There's basic TV, no movie offerings. It doesn't...

Normally I do not give 5 stars unless it is a great hotel and has a great view. But the location was so good and close to everything I could not help myself. Nice hotel, nice people, fairly well maintained. (One lamp did not work.) Easy walk to State Street and the buses to all the main sights. Across the...

First impressions are important and this Hotel certainly provides a very pleasant one. Very well appointed room, comfortable bed and a really nice bathroom. Great location. Just a short walk down to the lake. Handy having Starbucks on the corner for a quick breakfast. The Hotel Blake rocks and so does Chicago!!

Nice hotel, clean, old style, typical chicago gotham decor... Excellent breakfast at meli café, though a bit pricey. Great location at the loop. Overall recommended. Harrison station nearby, though closed for repairs during my trip. Nice restaurants nearby.

Stayed here and loved it. Great location, parking options, friendly staff, etc. Only there one night so we didn't need much but a comfy bed and a nice shower - and we got both. Meli cafe downstairs is delicious.

I’m more of a bed-and-breakfast or guesthouse kind of traveler, so budget-wise, a hotel like the Blake is a step up for me. I found everything typical and perfectly fine, with a couple of slight annoyances. First, apparently it’s common for hotels to assign disabled-accessible rooms to people who don’t need them, when people who use wheelchairs or scooters aren’t...
