Overall, this is a good business meeting hotel. The hotel is dated, but it is clear they have made significant updates to refresh the look and feel. It still lacks the polish of high end hotels, but my meeting rate was under $200 a night. There are better choices if you are coming to Chicago for a family vacation.

The Fairmont did not disappoint! The rooms were large and the view was gorgeous. Breakfast was great, staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location! You can easily walk to El train, or shopping. Def would stay here again!!

We stayed two nights at the Fairmont and couldn't have been more pleased with the service, staff, and location! What a fabulous place! We were able to walk everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas holiday lights, shopping, and festivities! A special thank you to Gail, our fabulous concierge who made us feel like very special guests! We will return!

Good location, quiet street, large room. The heating system was relatively poor on this cold day, and the TV did not allow for playing HDMI content from laptop. Engineer came to help but said that TV was locked out of doing such things. Parked at Raddison Blu as parking lot there had more amenities (electric charger).

A modern hotel with all of the amenities including turndown service. The rooms are nice, and the shower is separate from the bathtub. We had a meeting here that was well organized, as were the food functions. The fitness center needs attention, as the equipment could use a once over. When I checked in, I was told that I was...

Can't say a negative thing about our stay - from the people who helped me book our complicated rooms, to the valet service, to the front desk people, to the concierge, to the modern feel of the decor, to the cleanliness, to the location, it was all amazing. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here while in town to see Hamilton with family. Nice sized comfortable and quiet rooms. Large bathroom with separate bath and shower. Well maintained property. Next door to Millennium Park and easy walking distance to many Loop and Magnificent Mile attractions.

I enjoyed this hotel as it is conveniently located and I paid extra to stay on the Fairmont Gold floor with access to the Fairmont Lounge. The breakfasts were wonderful, as were the evening appetizer buffets. My room was large and comfortable, with a nice dressing area. The gym was a bit cramped and the machines needed dusting. Overall, nice...

Price is where you would expect it for a downtown property of this caliber. The location is excellent we were able to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go except out to the burbs for some dive joints. Staff is friendly and professional if not a little stuffy, but again expected.

I have never been a guest at a hotel where I felt more valued. My daughter attended a conference and I came along to keep her company and shop. I became ill on our arrival and spent one whole day in the room. Our room attendant (Carmen) and room service staff kept such good care of me. I felt like...
