We were offered upgrade to Gold lounge level for a very reasonable price per night that included complimentary premium wifi, lounge access included complimentary breakfast, snacks, hors d'oeuvers, dessert and cordials and honor bar. Separate registration with excellent service and lovely lounge. Our room has an incredible view of the park and Lake Michigan. Very comfortable sofa seating, great bed...

Beautiful hotel with stunning views of Millennium Park. Staff is extremely helpful and goes out of their way to assist with everything. I requested a Pepsi (they are a coke hotel) and am employee ran to CVS to get me one! That is what I call service!

The Fairmont presents itself as a high-end hotel, and comfortable enough. Rates are biased towards the business traveler. I know the world has largely moved digital, but have we really gotten to the point that a premium hotel provides no newspapers for its guests? I understand that most hotels have discontinued the service of a USA Today or local paper...

Stayed here on a business trip, unimpressed and not sure I would go back. It was not terrible, but not what I expected from a 4 star hotel. The shower head spray was wide and a thin mist which could not be adjusted so that was irritating. My mini-fridge was not working, and the room was cold and there were...

The staff were really nice and helpful. The meeting space is not easy to navigate. Good location. Gym is really inadequate for this type of property and in a location that is not conducive for business meetings because you have to pass through areas where attendees pass. Great views from some rooms (Park and water). Lobby bar is not warm...

This hotel promised to be lovely because it is a "Farimont". Absolutely not! The property is run down, shabby and in desperate need of refurbishing and refurnishing. There was only one attendant at the front desk; unacceptable for a downtown Chicago hotel. The breakfast room was also severely understaffed. The beds were old and uncomfortable. Shame on you Fairmont!!

Note: This review reflects my most recent stay, as I was a returning guest to the property. The room was as expected, sizable with the standard amenities - large desk, flat-screen television, and sitting area and table, hidden mini-bar, safe, closet, bathroom with both tub and stand-up shower, and housekeeping did a good job overall. The problem with this stay...

The main positive about our stay at the Fairmont Millennium Park was the service staff -- they were friendly, quick, and helpful. In brief, the hotel has seen better days. The hallways and rooms are very worn and a bit battered around the edges. The furniture in the hotel room, including the beds, was very weathered and well past its...

This hotel has very spacious rooms and I really enjoyed my stay. It is within walking distance to Michigan Ave. I stayed for a work conference and at first it was confusing where to find the conference rooms but by the 2nd day I found my way around. Several floors of conference rooms! I had issues when I checked out...

Stayed at the hotel over a nice & unexpectedly warm weekend in February. I called for any last minute deals & the reservationist understood exactly what I wanted and was extremely helpful. I explained I am from Chicago but my 2 teen step children had never seen the big city (live in MI now). She arranged for a room with...
