Please double check the phote attached to be sure wheather the hotel charge me or not. For there's no notice found it is free or not of the refreshment center,I just drink a bottle of water. I used my friend's credit card to check in, who was on my side that time.

View from room 31st floor looking south was fantastic. Housekeeping and amenities were not up to Fairmount standards. No pool and spa very expensive. Management at restaurant were overwhelmed with volume and turned us away so they could have a break. Housekeeping did not replace coffee pods from previous occupations and after leaving a note and tip, they only replaced them one time and not for rest of our stay. Also they did not remove dirty cups and glasses on counter. In room refrigerator only had space for paid items, not for food we brought back from restaurant.

The rooms were clean but very small. The towels were very old and dingy. No microwave or refrigerator. Coffee maker noisy sounded like drilling. More but I only get 200 characters. More space needed.

The hotel's staff is helpful, courteous, and welcoming from the front desk, housekeeping, and food staff to bell staff. For the first time since COVID-19, I've experienced a hotel trying to make their guests welcome and accommodate them.

Stayed on floor 33 for our 3 night stay - amazing views! We ate in the ground pub one evening - our server was attentive and courteous. Alex on Concierge desk assisted us with a restaurant booking specialising in steaks and Secret Food walking tour - both were great. Gabriel on Reception checked us in very smoothly. Finally Daniel on taxi bookings arranged for an airport cab to ensure we left the City prior to the Mexican festival celebrations. Our room was clean, everything worked, and we enjoyed the central location. Great, friendly employees who have an excellent service standard. We would return to the Fairmont.

This is a very nice property. It is very clean and comfortable and the staff are helpful. I’ve stayed here several times over the last few years and would definitely return. I’ve always been traveling for business and been very busy so can’t comment on the amenities but the rooms are excellent. On this trip I got upgraded. I was only there one night but would have liked to stay longer. I will return.

Olivia at the front desk is a very impressive Fairmont employee. She memorize the names of the guests that arrive each day. This is in a hotel with 37 floors. Because she knows the name of the guests, when I locked myself out of the room without any ID, she knew who I was, and was able to quickly issue me a new key card. Thank you Olivia.

The location is wonderful and within walking distance to many of Chicago's attractions. The view of Lake Michigan from my 36th floor room was lovely. The room was spacious and clean. The only drawback was there was no refrigerator for guest use (unless you request one). Staff were friendly and accommodating.

I’ve stayed at several Fairmont properties around the world. This one was by far the worst. Pros: - Good location. Close enough to Michigan Ave without the hectic pedestrian & vehicle traffic. - Rooms are spacious. We had a king bed with park view room. Walk-in closet, large bathroom with walk-in shower. Didn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms. Air conditioning was quiet and effective. Shower water pressure was adequate. - Bellman service was friendly and proactive. Cons: - Rooms were not clean and housekeeping was weak. When we first walked in, there was dust on surfaces. Disposable coffee coasters were dirty and clearly used. The paper notepad was crumbled up…all they needed to do was tear off the first few pages! There was dust and dirt inside some of the drawers. The pillows and blankets smelled like wet dog. There was dirt in the bathtub. The clothes line above the bathtub had yellow stains. Some of the shampoo/bathwash bottles were near empty. Nespresso pods were not replenished the following day. The sliding WC door in the bathroom dropped dust and dirt from the top every time we opened or close it. - The hotel is old and the rooms show it. - Front desk service was understaffed. When checking out, there were 7 groups waiting and only 1 agent. There was no attempt to acknowledge waiting customers or bring in additional help. - US$23/night “amenity charge” is ridiculous and just a money grab. - There’s no security. Anyone can just walk in and take the elevator up to your room without an access card.
