This is a great property and a very short walk from the Clark/Lake Blue line station from O'Hare airport. A mix of business and pleasure guests. The beds were comfortable and the whole facility is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. This property is a 10 minute walk from the Art Institute of Chicago and a...

My main priorities when searching for a place to stay in Chicago were 1) good location, 2) pet friendly. Hotel Monaco was better. I can put up with a lot as long as my priorities are checked off, but I didn't have to. The hotel staff was friendly, prompt, and helpful. They made myself, my fiance, and my little dog...

Pro: The hotel room was very nice and the big window with the view is really something unique. Cons: There was a ridiculous $5 dollar fee for each package delivered to the hotel that they didn't tell about it, even after I sent an email asking for the packages policy ( they only answered that they would gladly accept it)....

Great location to watch the Thanksgiving parade and stroll the shops on Michigan Ave. Walking distance to Millenium Park, and a brisk walk down to the Navy Pier. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and spacious. We will be back.

This hotel is my youngest daughter's favorite in all of Chicago. Mostly for the fantastic window seats but also for the hotel staff. Last year they upgraded us for her birthday but this year they didn't. She was disappointed but soon got over it. I love Kimpton properties for their quirkiness and cozy rooms. And of course their cool robes!

I stayed at the Monaco when in town for a corporate board meeting. I found the hotel to be "cozy" or put otherwise the rooms were relatively small for a hotel in this price range. The staff was friendly and the doormen very informative. Yes, there was the complimentary wine, although the evening my wife and I decided to try...

Mark K - Thanks for your great feedback about your recent stay. We're happy to hear that the staff was friendly & informative during your stay. We find that compared to many rooms in the Chicago area, especially in century-old buildings, ours are rather spacious and a great value for the Loop location. We hope that you'll come see us...

I traveled with friends for a long weekend in Chicago and stayed at the Hotel Monaco. We arrived after 11pm and checked in with Caroline who was so friendly! The room was beautiful and had a great view of the river and surrounding skyline. With this being our first time to Chicago we were not very sure where we were...

Stayed here for a long weekend with 2 friends. The hotel is perfectly located for easy walking to attractions, shopping and restaurants. Our room had 2 queen beds, plenty of space and great window seats. The hotel staff were friendly and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The complimentary wine and canapes were a bonus and a great chance to relax...
