My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Hotel Monaco and really enjoyed it. It wasn't our first trip to Chicago and wanted to do all of the touristy things. We stayed there Mod Jan and found it very easy to walk to everything we wanted to do. Very close to the bean, close to the navy pier, etc. We...

We have stayed in multiple Chicago hotels, but always come back to Monaco. The location suits us very well, being on Wacker & Wabash. It's an easy walk to most places, and taxi's are easy to get. The rates are often competitive. The thing we love best is the uniquely decorated rooms with the big window bench seats. The views...

Doesn't get much better in terms of accommodations, service, and location. We are local to Chicago and decided to make a semi-last minute reservation to see the Cubs WS celebration parade. This hotel is a literal stone's throw from the magnificent mile. Upon arrival, we found out we had been upgraded to a suite. We were completely blown away by...

Nice modern and clean hotel with sleek design. Rooms are a nice size with cool modern bathrooms and clean efficient gym. The check in staff were not much help. Kind of rude actually and I'm from Chicago so it's not that. They did not bother to tell us about the evening wine reception. We were surprised to see a lobby...

We wanted a hotel that wasn't too far from the PrivateBank Theater, since the main event of our weekend trip was seeing Hamilton. We have stayed at Kimpton properties before with great experiences, so I wanted to try the Hotel Monaco since it was a very reasonable price. I did not pay for a river view room, and that is...

The staff was friendly and the doormen were exceptional. The room was decent size and clean. The hot cocoa hour was delicious, but needed stirs to mix the chocolates. In room 1010 the bathroom had the following problems; the tile around the tub spout had been replaced around and it looked horrible, like a 10 year old had repaired it....

I love this hotel w the big window seats & awesome views. Great location, and a free wine hour can't be beat. Friendly welcoming staff too. But wow, the free hot chocolate in the afternoon was undrinkable this visit, and when I asked for a blanket I think they must have thought it was for a dog at this pet...

We stayed here for the Ireland V All Blacks rugby game in November. The hotel was conveniently located right across the road from The Emerald Loop, a fun spot. Our room was smallish but completely met our needs. Nice comfortable bed, and lovely toiletries. The location was perfect - poised in between The Loop and the Magnificent Mile. Front desk...

An outstanding hotel with an excellent staff who are committed to customer care and comfort. We enjoyed the wine and cider hour from 5-6 P.M. Unfortunately are room was not ready as we checked in early. The staff kept our bags securely as we asked for advice on nearby restaurant/coffee shops to visit. We are ready to go hit the...

Giving it two stars because it's obviously very pretty, clean, and the bed is nice and comfy, but what good is all that when the construction crew starts hammering away in the room next to you at 7 - I repeat - 7am?? I think it was awful of them to have given me that room, especially since I checked...
