Excellent location between North Riverfront and Michigan Ave. Small but comfortable lobby, nice rooms and the restaurant is good for breakfast. If you are a Kimpton point member and book through another booking site you might not get your points, so call them direct and ask for the same price.

The hotel was full of great customer service and a smooth sense of style. We stayed there because it was near the Private Bank Theater, but we also found the hotel in walking distance to Millenium Park, the Shedd Aquarium, and Navy Pier. The window seats are a super-cute treat, but the free wine hour was the cherry on top!...

Room was clean and nicely decorated. the bed was very confortable. the location was perfect and we could walk everywhere. we ate breakfast in the on-site restaurant and it was amazing food. We would definitely return. Our only issue was they charged our Visa for our room that was already pre-paid. I called the next day and the issue was...

The Monaco is a wonderful hotel and lives up to its reputation of "trying to be a little bite different" and a "little personal." The staff are very helpful and can smile and well as take a joke. The wine hour at 5 is fun and the crowd I ran into very friendly and conversational. The restaurant is great (with...

Kimpton hotels always seem to be at least a little more stylish than other hotels, and this is certainly true for the Monaco. We had a wonderfully comfortable room, very large, with 2 queen beds and 2 fantastic window seats looking out at Chicago! The beds were very comfortable, the room was quiet, and the thoughtful balckout curtains actually made...

This is absolutely our favorite Kimpton hotel and we love staying here in Chicago. Great location - right in the loop, so there's public transportation nearby, as well as fantastic restaurants and a lovely view of the Chicago River. The best rooms in this hotel are the ones with a Giant Windowbox - it must be the size of a...

Perfect location with rooms & staff to match. Kimpton's awesome beds & great blackout curtains ensure a great nights rest. Can't beat the view from this one and anything you could want is close by. Take the Lake/Clark exit from the BLine & you have less than a 5 minute walk.

Thanks for the kind words Jim! Great tip on the ease of use getting to/from the airport on the Blue Line. Our fantastic location helps make that dreaded trip a whole lot easier. Hope to see you again!

What and amazing experience❤️. I say experience because it was less of a hotel stay and more of an overall experience! The look and decor of the hotel and our room was absolutely stunning! The hotel staff was so helpful with directions, helping set up the river boat 🚣 architectural tour (must do!), and suggesting places to see or restaurants...

Great hotel overall. I did not get my Raid the Bar reward upon check in and called the front desk to ask about it. The staff flat out refused to give it to us saying that one is not eligible for Kimpton Karma rewards when a reservation is made through a third party site such as Expedia. According to her...

Hi TravelQueenSeattle, I apologize for the confusion regarding the question about your Karma rewards account and your stay with us. Mixed messaging is always a bad look and we will work on continuing to educate our staff on the finer details surrounding the rewards program itself. Your first experience was correct regarding not getting credit for reservations booked through a...

This was our first stat at this hotel (we visit Chicago 4-5 times a year). What an amazing hotel! Great and helpful staff, large rooms, a great view (we had room 1110, which overlooks the Chicago River)! We must have gotten a great rate ($125/night). It's a great place that we will certainly stay at again! Thanks to everyone there...
