We were in town for my birthday but it also happened to be the Chicago Marathon weekend. We got there early hoping we'd just be able to park the car and check our bags so we could go out & aboutand they actually allowed us to check in which was great. They were very helpful with all the marathon event...

Nothing but great things to say about this hotel. Staff was very friendly, allowed for an early check-in. The historic building is in a great location, and the entire hotel has a very unique/classic feel. The restaurant Atwood has a great bar, with great happy hour specials and very friendly bartenders.

We stayed at the Burnham over Thanksgiving weekend. The location could not have been better with Macy's right across the street. The hotel itself is beautiful, very stunning restoration of what use to be a office building. The staff was very good, friendly and welcoming. Our room was a king, 15th floor. It was on the small side but this...

Another perfect stay at my home away from home. Fresh coffee in the morning and a hosted wine hour when the day is done. Rooms are spotless and lovely. Staff is fabulous. An unequaled regard for customer care.

perfect location in downtown Chicago, walking distance to shopping centers and many major attractions. I love the keys to the hotel, it is not common to receive actual keys instead of key cards to your room. Ask for a high floor room, the restaurant downstairs can be noisy. I love their waffles but the orange juice is not freshly squeezed.

Kimpton nails it again. I have stayed at the Hotel Burham several times during business trips to Chicago and it has never disappointed. Hotel Design: The interior of the hotel retains its historic charm and still features old knicknacks on display throughout the corridors. The lobby is open and features a restaurant and bar for hotel guests. Beautiful marble and...

The Hotel Burnham is a unique and fantastic historic hotel in Chicago. The building is ideally located in the heart of the city and the suites have nice views of the Chicago Theatre District sign and Millennium Park. I was here on business and brought my family along. We always receive attentive and warm service at Kimpton hotels. Malcolm at...

Dear GreenRoots TVl, Wow! Another Excellent Chicago Kimpton Hotel and this time it's a 121 years old building, said to be the first steel frame and glass skyscraper in the world. Wonderful experience! The rooms were once offices which have been redone for a classy feel that is both elegant and beautiful, yet nostalgic. The beds were a little firm for my preference but the room was very comfortable and the heating and air conditioning were excellent. The housekeeping staff do an amazing job! Our group went to eat a few...

Another Kimpton hotel but the same fabulous service. I specifically chose this hotel because of the front desk manager. He had taken such great care of me in Philadelphia and moved to Chicago. I knew my stay would be great as a result and I was not disappointed. Starting at check in w/ Shawn who was great and set the...

All I wanted from my hotel visit was a quiet room. I stayed on the 14th floor and could hear so much noise from outside, including a band playing on the corner. Location is excellent--they should do better about the noise.

Dear ShatzOnTheMove, Thank you for taking the time to complete an online review of the Hotel Burnham. We certainly appreciate you staying at this Daniel Burnham Designed original office building. This historical landmark is in a great location but offers an urban experience in the downtown area. On your next visit we will definitely give you a much quieter room....
