If you are on a business trip, SAVE YOUR TIME. First off the front desk guy and management were extremely rude and unprofessional. I was traveling to Chicago for work and was book in this hotel (Unfortunately) through Priceline. Upon checking in, the front desk guy said I needed the card that the room was booked with and the ID. Well being this was a company trip, the company I work for paid for the room, therefor I didn’t have the card or ID the room was booked with but had my personal for incidentals. I was told this is not good enough and I needed the card and ID it was booked with. I left the situation as is and proceeded to call the company I work for and explain. As I called my boss, the front desk guy called his “boss” and put her on speaker very loud so everyone is the lobby could here her. I assume she asked to be put on speaker cause he then says “ok your on speaker”. Next all I hear is “IF YOU DONT HAVE THE CARD AND THE ID THAT THE ROOM WAS BOOK WITH, YOU CANT STAY HERE”. “THATS IT DONT SAY NOTHING ELSE, THAT IS ALL YPU HAVE TO SAY”. Not only did I never ask to speak to her or a manager, I also didn’t ask for my situation to be broadcasted to the entire lobby. After I was told I needed the additional information, I not once asked the front desk guy a question. All I was trying to do is contact my company I work for to figure out a way to pay. Not even 5 minutes go by and the “boss” calls back and said I can’t use ANY card (No company card, no personal card, no nothing). The only way they would let me check into a room is by pay 3 nights with CASH. This is the craziest thing I have ever heard of. Stay away if you can!!!…
Room was very modern and large, with all of the amenities. The hotel staff was very helpful and responsive when I requested towels, even when I asked about visitor parking and nearby restaurants. A very satisfying weekend stay in the South Loop!
We stayed in Chicago at the beginning of our Route 66 trip. Check in was easy and our room was large and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They did not include breakfast, but there was a nice breakfast shop in the building. They include parking for some cars.
My weekend stay overall was very good. The hotel staff helped answer any questions I had about my stay, parking for my friends, and other services. Room service helped us greatly, and the shuttle bus service was great in transporting us to the McCormick Place for our weekend event.
Reasonable price for a very clean place. Not far from the city center and pretty close to the train’s green line, which connects you with everything. I arrived before the check in time, and they gave me the room right away. The last day they allowed us to let the car for the rest of the day after out check-out without any additional charges.
