Modern Vibed Hotel In An Excellent Location
We stayed at Eurostar’s magnificent mile for 4 nights in March 2020 at the start of our Route 66 adventure. This boutique hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance to all the main attractions in Chicago, restaurants and subway. Check in is 3pm and check out is 12pm. Check in itself was quick and painless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a restaurant, a trendy bar, spa, gym and rooftop terrace but we didn’t visit those so unable to comment further. The rooms themselves (ours was a king deluxe) are spotlessly clean, with a king sized bed, mini bar, air conditioning, safe, iron/ironing board, big LCD TV with cable channels, complimentary toiletries, robes/slippers and a huge rainfall shower. Our bedding was changed daily as were the towels (even though we hung them up), so housekeeping was probably a bit over-efficient. There is also complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel which was decent and fast. Distance from O’hare airport is roughly 16 miles and an Uber cost approx $30. Overall; an enjoyable stay and good value for money. 8.5/10.

Nice hotel in a good location
Eurostars offers a descent accommodation within downtown Chicago. Within a walking distant to some of the nice restaurants and shops around Magnificent Mile. I hardly used a taxi or bus on the trip. Buffet Breakfast is quite basic - cereal, yoghurt, breads, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, fruits and juices. However I think there is opportunity for you to order more options if the menu. Descent minibar with a wide selection of wines. The gym facility is quite small but felt it was quite adequate for the occasional crowd I encountered. The room was comfy. I will likely visit again but may consider other options for the price. Spent my first 3 nights but did the remainder nights at Hyatt Regency and it made me wondet a bit on the pricing vs value

    Wonderful stay!
Had a wonderful stay at the Eurostar Magnificent Mile celebrating with my partner. Check-in was super smooth and the reception staff were friendly and full of local info. The junior suite had all amenities needed and the views were absolutely stunning, especially at night. Created a beautiful backdrop for amazing photos! The bed was extremely comfy and the shower.... just wow!!!!! Breakfast was tasty and our host Aiki was sweet, efficient and real easy to talk to. She's an absolute credit to the company and helped to round off what was already a pretty great stay! When I'm back in Chicago in the Summer I'll definitely consider staying here for the duration of my trip!

Stayed to the Eurostar for 6 night 5 planned then due to traffic air issues in uk. Had to stay an extra night this was no problem to hotel.a previous review claimed that this area was noisy at times in the night yes it was but what would you expect in a big city. Can’t speak highly of ALL staff from girls on reception there a lovely breakfast bar underneath the hotel which is fantastic. Great for location but this is a city made for walking. Would I stay here again - no doubt Hotel rooms are great with great views and comfortable Personal I could not fault it

Is this the same hotel as previous reviews? Just can't fault it. Check in took all of 2 minutes. Staff super friendly and our room is amazing.Views to die for. Big comfy bed with soft fluffy pillows. Huge shower and for once quiet Aircon. Yes you can hear the traffic but let's face it you're in the middle of Chicago! Would I stay hear again , definitely. Would I recommend this hotel, definitely! Just don't understand what previous guests are moaning about.

I will preface this review by saying we were on the ninth floor. Rooms that are located on higher floors may not experience this problem. But… The noise from the street was intolerable. The hotel is located right on the intersection of State and Erie, which is one of the busiest intersections in River North. And the traffic is 24 hours a day, nonstop. Honking, drag racing, motorcycles, music on full blast — and it did not quiet down until after 3am when the bars started closing. At one point my Army vet husband shot up out of his sleep thinking we were under attack because some crotch rocket motorcycles roared down the street startling him awake. I finally dozed off around 3am. After I put my ear plugs in. With a pillow over my head. And white noise on full volume on my phone. Other cons: the office building across the street has a front row view of your hotel room. If your blinds are open, they will see you. The blinds leave gaps over the window, so street lights shine into your room all night. Weird shower that’s supposed to be Euro chic or something. Instead of a wall separating the sleeping area from the bathroom, there is a glass shower wall. So, if you are sitting on the bed, you can see into the shower, and then through the shower into the bathroom. The only privacy offered is a curtain on the outside of the shower stall, so the person in the shower cannot actually control the privacy. It’s weird. If you’re a couple, it’s probably not a big deal, but honestly, you can’t even go to the bathroom without somebody being able to pull the curtain aside and watch you. I love my husband, but I still appreciate some privacy! I’m sure there were some good things about this hotel. It has good reviews elsewhere. But not being able to sleep is a deal breaker for me. If you choose to stay here, request a room on a higher floor!

The hotel was run down. The carpet in the lobby was torn and in the hallway in front of our room. The room had an order like curry and the ceiling, column was unfinished (no stucco). Also the height from the floor to the ceiling was short. It could not have been any higher than 10 feet. Definitely not worth $266.

it's a good, not great location. a few blocks from Michigan Ave and a few from the city trains. i paid for a panoramic view and that was nice. room decor is modern and lovely. bed was comfortable and lots of pillows. i did have a real skin reaction to the sheets (usually means too much soap). i prefer to have at least one window that opens, but understand this is rare in high rises. the staff was well trained and very friendly, but i always had to wait a bit to even ask a quick question. seemed understaffed. the hotel overall was good, but for the price i probably would not stay there next time.

Hotel was perfect location for getting around. We used the transport system from the airport, out to the United centre and up to Wrigley field for a baseball game. Room was ok - beds comfy and great AC. Small leek from the toilet but nothing major! Shower was really good. Lighting in the room wasn’t great but we managed. You could hear noise from other rooms and I didn’t particularly like the concrete ceilings in the room. I would stay again for the location and we got a pretty good deal compared to the prices of some of the other hotels in the area. Plenty of eating & shopping options right outside the hotel

Scam hotel! If you have this on your list of options QUICKY ERASE IT! This hotel is certainly not the advertised 4 star hotel it claims to be. I paid $300 for the junior suite for one night. When I walked into the room the floors were worn , as well as the couch cushions. The cushion of the couches were very old and need replacement. The room lighting was absolutely terrible. For the amount I paid for a “junior suite” it came with no amenities! I have stayed in cheaper hotels with better quality rooms. Apart from the room being a disappointment the hotel staff was extremely unprofessional! Carl Ross and Melvin Berry were security the night of my stay and they were absolutely beyond rude. You could tell these two men get a power trip from being rude and demanding to someone they feel superior to due to their “security” role. Proper training on customer service and professionalism is needed right away at this hotel. I hope no one else endures such a terrible experience such as I did. I would recommend going to a Hilton , Marriott , literally anything other than Eurostar. This hotel needs some serious remodeling and a new staff if possible. Then they should change the name again, reopen, and try again.

We had just come from a very luxurious historic hotel the night before so the decor at the Eurostars was a dramatic change. Service was very competent and cordial. The bell man and valet parking were very welcoming. Everything about the place is spotlessly clean and modern. Parking is $60 per night, but, again, very competent. If there is anything that I felt was a fly in the ointment it was the TV channels. The card in the room was out of date and when I asked at the front desk for an update, the man said that the channels had just changed recently. I said, "no problem, all I need is a paper copy of the new channel arrangement". To my amazement, he said that they had not gotten around to printing any copies of the new channel arrangement. What??? They cannot afford a one cent piece of copy paper?

This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. This is a 3 star hotel. The hotel is located on a very busy street and it’s very unsafe to valet your car. A man is there and he has on a tee shirt that says valet, but frankly we were concerned because he never walked to our car we had to flag him. Then they brought us a cart to pull out our luggage and this is at 499.00 per night. When we came into the room it’s concrete ceilings and it’s very dark. We rented the junior suite and it’s more like a high end residence inn. The floor to ceiling windows are blocked on both sides by concrete balconies so you can see nothing below. The room is so dark and the lighting is very low, so if that fits you then this would work for you. if you like open space and a lot of light this is not the hotel or room. We do think the shower is nice. No tub, no double vanity but it does have a rain faucet and it’s very big. the uplostery on all the chairs and sofas are worn and had it been more higher end then it’s was likely a design statement, but this just seems very worn and not kept up or groomed. The wood floors have scratches everywhere and their is a nook table that looks more like something you would get from target.

A fabulous room and a great location in Chicago. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food facilities were closed while we stayed, but there was a 7 Eleven just across the road that helped fill our coffee needs. The shower was huge and beds were super comfortable.
