The hotel is located in the north of state street (a street several kilometers long that connects the north of the city of lincoln park with the south of china town). The location of the hotel is strategic to see the city comfortably on foot (in 25 minutes walk south you arrive at the millenniumpark and the bean while with the same walk north you arrive at the beginning of lincoln park and the beach of north avenue. Our room on the 18th floor enjoyed a wonderful view of the city (room with two rows of corner windows). It is equipped with 3 elevators that allow easy access to the lobby and where breakfast is served. Very spacious room equipped with everything (mini fridge and large LCD TV), glass shower overlooking the bedroom. Excellent daily cleaning. Breakfast, which in our case was included in the room, is served at the restaurant / bar on the ground floor: you could choose a dish from those present On the menu: both sweet and savory, both meat and fish (salmon) and also vegetarian options. Plus a glass of orange juice and American coffee. The savoury dishes are very abundant and allow you to get to lunch without problems. Upon arrival they ask for a credit card where to "lock" $90 as a guarantee. Reception service h24 much appreciated and very kind. If I were to go back to chicago I think I would still stay here!

Perfect hotel to explore Chicago. The location is very good, very close to the magnificent mile and connects very well with metro and buses throughout the city. You can get to the airport by connecting the red and blue line metro. The hotel is very nice, modern, new facilities, very clean, large and comfortable rooms. The attention is very friendly, at reception always ready to answer questions, or solutions to any eventuality. It does not have breakfast included, but it does have a bar/restaurant where you can have breakfast, however there are other cheaper options nearby. The elevator is very fast, which does not always happen in other hotels, the wait is only a few seconds. Our room was very spacious, with a hall/living room, breakfast table/refrigerator/coffee maker. Good bathroom with two showers, very comfortable bed, desk, amenities. Wifi very good! Without a doubt I would choose it again!!

The reception team, especially Marta, was very accommodating and dealt with more complicated requests competently and friendly! The breakfast included staff also made every morning start fantastic. The location right next to the Magnificent Mile is perfect for exploring this area, the Loop is within walking distance. The Grand subway station is right nearby. We had a panoramic view room on a corner on the 22nd floor and would book it again and again! All amenities including a coffee machine, safe and iron were available. The bed was very comfortable and the cleaning team very attentive. The gym is very well equipped, very clean and has a fabulous view of the skyline. The air conditioning in heating mode was a bit loud, but that didn't bother us.

Hotel was perfect location for getting around. We used the transport system from the airport, out to the United centre and up to Wrigley field for a baseball game.
Room was ok - beds comfy and great AC. Small leek from the toilet but nothing major! Shower was really good.
Lighting in the room wasn’t great but we managed. You could hear noise from other rooms and I didn’t particularly like the concrete ceilings in the room.
I would stay again for the location and we got a pretty good deal compared to the prices of some of the other hotels in the area. Plenty of eating & shopping options right outside the hotel

We stayed at Eurostar’s magnificent mile for 4 nights in March 2020 at the start of our Route 66 adventure.
This boutique hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance to all the main attractions in Chicago, restaurants and subway.
Check in is 3pm and check out is 12pm. Check in itself was quick and painless and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel has a restaurant, a trendy bar, spa, gym and rooftop terrace but we didn’t visit those so unable to comment further.
The rooms themselves (ours was a king deluxe) are spotlessly clean, with a king sized bed, mini bar, air conditioning, safe, iron/ironing board, big LCD TV with cable channels, complimentary toiletries, robes/slippers and a huge rainfall shower. Our bedding was changed daily as were the towels (even though we hung them up), so housekeeping was probably a bit over-efficient.
There is also complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel which was decent and fast.
Distance from O’hare airport is roughly 16 miles and an Uber cost approx $30.
Overall; an enjoyable stay and good value for money.
8.5/10.

My husband and I decided to do a staycation. We had thought of the peninsula, but this hotel seemed like a good deal, with a spa and we were able to get a suite - so we decided to try it. This was a mistake and one of the worst travel experiences we have had in Chicago . First, we were not informed that no restaurants , lobby bars etc were completed. The hotel was a construction zone. Second , it was a 45 minute wait just to check in and the staff at checkin was not particularly welcoming. Finally , my husband had a spa appointment at 12:30 - the earliest time that they had available. We had asked to have checkout extended 1/2 hour to allow home to shower after the appointment. They not only refused , even though they admittedly did not need the room but they were rude and unprofessional. They turned off our key early- and proceeded to call several times prior to checkout time to “ remind” Is they would not let us stay the extra half hour. Their treatment was degrading and completely in appropriate for the situation and type of hotel it espouses to be. The room Its self was fine although poorly lit. We will not be back and would advise anyone to go elsewhere.

I will preface this review by saying we were on the ninth floor. Rooms that are located on higher floors may not experience this problem. But… The noise from the street was intolerable. The hotel is located right on the intersection of State and Erie, which is one of the busiest intersections in River North. And the traffic is 24 hours a day, nonstop. Honking, drag racing, motorcycles, music on full blast — and it did not quiet down until after 3am when the bars started closing. At one point my Army vet husband shot up out of his sleep thinking we were under attack because some crotch rocket motorcycles roared down the street startling him awake. I finally dozed off around 3am. After I put my ear plugs in. With a pillow over my head. And white noise on full volume on my phone.
Other cons: the office building across the street has a front row view of your hotel room. If your blinds are open, they will see you.
The blinds leave gaps over the window, so street lights shine into your room all night.
Weird shower that’s supposed to be Euro chic or something. Instead of a wall separating the sleeping area from the bathroom, there is a glass shower wall. So, if you are sitting on the bed, you can see into the shower, and then through the shower into the bathroom. The only privacy offered is a curtain on the outside of the shower stall, so the person in the shower cannot actually control the privacy. It’s weird. If you’re a couple, it’s probably not a big deal, but honestly, you can’t even go to the bathroom without somebody being able to pull the curtain aside and watch you. I love my husband, but I still appreciate some privacy!
I’m sure there were some good things about this hotel. It has good reviews elsewhere. But not being able to sleep is a deal breaker for me. If you choose to stay here, request a room on a higher floor!

This hotel is walking distance to almost anything and everything. Easy for Uber to pull up on. The staff is super nice and professional. The bathroom is marvelous.
The spa is the best! Worth every penny!!
The hotel itself has very few amenities. I'm a big fan of hotel amenities, especially when I pay over $100 to stay for less than 24 hrs. (3pm-12noon)
The level of security is also impressive. Never stayed in a hotel that made you sign paperwork acknowledging the no gun, no extra guest, no certain credit cards accepted policies.
Stay here if you want to walk to most places and looking for a good in house spa.

Hotel is at an excellent central location, walking distance from great restaurants and different attractions of the Chicago Downtown area, including the Magnificent Mile. The room was very comfortable and we had a very pleasant experience with the hotel staff, always courteous and helpful. In case you want go to farther attractions, there are subway stations just 3 blocks from the hotel.

We had just come from a very luxurious historic hotel the night before so the decor at the Eurostars was a dramatic change. Service was very competent and cordial. The bell man and valet parking were very welcoming. Everything about the place is spotlessly clean and modern. Parking is $60 per night, but, again, very competent. If there is anything that I felt was a fly in the ointment it was the TV channels. The card in the room was out of date and when I asked at the front desk for an update, the man said that the channels had just changed recently. I said, "no problem, all I need is a paper copy of the new channel arrangement". To my amazement, he said that they had not gotten around to printing any copies of the new channel arrangement. What??? They cannot afford a one cent piece of copy paper?

No! There are no restaurants open in the actual hotel. I was told that the restaurants are independent to the hotels an decided not to reopen after being "shut down". There are however literally tons of restaurants with in a 5-10 min walk of the hotel in every direction. There is one right across the street we enjoyed several times.
There are more places to choose from in the Chicago area.
