The accommodations are superb - comparable to any US high-end hotel. The setting is magnificent, with the resort being on the Atlantic side of the island, where sea turtles frequently come to lay eggs. During our stay, we were able to see sea turtles both hatch and crawl across the beach into the ocean, which was an amazing experience. The... More

This hotel has the most AMAZING, UNIQUE experience of my life. If you choose, you are put on a list so that anytime a sea turtle comes ashore on the beach in front of the hotel to lay their eggs, a knock is on your door and you go out in the dark under the stars and moon and watch... More

Dear pgtraveler28, We are pleased you had such a wonderful time at Rosalie Bay on Dominica — the Nature Island of the Caribbean. Many of our guests say the turtle experience is simply magical and that’s one of the reasons we chose it as our tagline: Rosalie Bay Resort…Simply Magical. So too is Dominica as you point out and we’re... More

A beautiful resort on the Atlantic coast where the river meets the sea. The suites are very large and luxurious and the bed is likely the most comfortable ever. Service from the staff is good and the restaurant meals and ambiance are very good. Wifi was a bit spotty even though there were few guests. The beach is not very... More

My family and I manage a small, eco lodge near Castle Bruce - we live in Dominica. We decided to take a weekend off and celebrate my birthday at Rosalie. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The kids enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool, we watched the turtle hatchings on the beach and enjoyed some delicious food. We would recommend a... More

I've stayed at several resorts and hotels on Dominica, and this is by far the best. The rooms, the service, the restaurant are all perfect. I was traveling alone this time, so had an ocean front room all to myself. You can hear the ocean all the time, which I love. I participated in releasing turtle hatchlings for a second... More

This is a fabulous resort on the East Coast of Dominica. Our son was showing us all around the island so we only had one evening to spend there. We had oceanfront rooms. The breeze and sounds were great. We enjoyed the pool with a poolbar, the fitness room and the restaurant

Priceless...Amazing...Rejuvenating...I want more...the Turtle conservation project is simply a sight to see. Thanks, Simon and Judy! Loved the food, lovely room, the staff was so polite and accommodating. A definite stop on any Nature Isle vacation. I pray I have the opportunity to return and stay longer!!!

We were staying in Roseau valley on the other side of the island, but relocated here and it turned our trip around completely. The dedication to being a eco-resort is wonderful and the resort itself is beautiful, nestled in a quiet corner on the southeast side of the island. There are so many activities offered and the staff are so... More

First and foremost: It is no reflection on the hotel except maybe they should remind guests that it is not as well known or documented as it should be. **YOU MUST PAY CASH ONLY $23 US PER PERSON AT THE AIRPORT AFTER YOU GO THROUGH CUSTOMS ON YOUR EXIT FLIGHT HOME FROM DOMINICA.* Make note now and do not forget... Visited Dominica for our Honeymoon, stayed at Rosalie Bay resort for 7 days. Between turtle nesting, our stunning accommodations, staff (especially Royston our local tour guide) and the raw nature of the island we fell head over heels in love.
