Stayed here for only 1 night and cancelled other nights, because it was very close to family in town and didn't want to put them out. Ended up staying about 15 Miles further away at a Baymont which was worth it.

A perfectly fine small town budget hotel. Nothing fancy, but sheets and towels were clean, and the water was hot. Bed was comfortable enough at this price range. Room was larger than average. Wifi worked well.
This motel is old, but clean. Gentleman at front desk was friendly upon check-in but didn't see him at desk again (went to bring him a bullet shell found on floor in room- huh? Lol) Grounds were beautifully landscaped with roses and other flowering plants....More
The Carlin Villa has good smells. Clean. The bed was comfortable. The microwave and mini refrigerator were plain but new. The landscaping was simple and pretty and needed weeding. The continental breakfast was coffee, cereal, milk, juice, bananas, white toast and jam, and packaged not-made-from-scratch...More
