The staff were all very young but despite that very professional. They shared their knowledge about wines and food without hesitation and with a pride in what they were doing. We had a suite in what used to be a cottage which was lovely. Super king size four poster, waterfall shower, daily bedding change. Might be a problem finding your... More

Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel. The best food we have eaten out in Wales! We loved our stay for our wedding anniversary and have booked again for our birthdays this year.it really should have Michelin star by now!

I have visited The Grove on numerous occasions for dinner, which has always been exceptional. Because of this, we decided to host my daughter's baby shower here. The staff were attentive and at hand throughout our afternoon. We were a party of 20 and we were served afternoon tea. My only negative point would be the price of soft drinks.... More

Have just spent 3 nights at The Grove and found Perfection; top quality from beginning to end; staff unfailingly in the business of making your stay as good as can be; relaxing immaculate gardens and grounds; food excellent and wines interesting; only quibble for us was the delays between courses at dinner were too long but maybe that's what others... We stayed for a few days in the Daniel and Elizabeth suite and had a wonderful stay. The building is full of character and is beautifully presented. Staff were helpful and courteous. The grounds are lovely. The cottages looked wonderful and staying in the house was special. The suite is fantastic with bedroom, living room and bathroom tucked up on... More

We had recently been married and on arrival we were told we had been upgraded which was a lovely surprise. We were escorted to our room which was beautifully furnished, the bathroom was gorgeous with a bath and shower. We had afternoon tea in one of the smaller rooms which was delicious. We had booked for dinner and told to... More

Visited here for a baby shower on a sunny Sunday afternoon with a group of 20 women. The staff working here are exceptionally professional. The way they present themselves with their uniform being spotless is a very good first impression. The way the receptionists are presented too making you feel welcome as soon as you step through the door. The... More

The Grove is a lovely country hotel with modern amenities, nice bar, great ambiance and excellent service. Breakfast was delicious as well. Our only complaint would be the lack of a/c. In the hot summer, no amount of window-opening can offset the heat. Adding a/c, even portables, would make this hotel even that much better. Other than the lack of... More

Have wanted to stay at this hotel for a long time & glad we finally did. The location is rural & very relaxing with beautifully maintained grounds. The room was pleasant & the food in the restaurant a real treat. Well worth hunting out.
