We have just had a lovely short break at The Grove hotel. It is a very elegant hotel and felt like staying in a private country residence. We had a very comfortable suite after being unexpectedly upgraded. The decor is beautiful with real attention to detail using local artists a

An unexpected opportunity arose for us to spend a night at this secluded hotel. Surely, it was a long way to drive (from Oxford) for just one night?

Not a bit of it. From the point at which we arrived at the elegant entrance gates and saw the long avenue of trees stretching aw

We stayed for two nights in October with two young children and had a great stay.

The place is relaxed and very stylish but at the same time very comfortable. I really loved the various sitting areas with cosy fireplaces and the smell of wood fire.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are glad that you had a relaxing stay with us and that you were able to enjoy our cosy lounges in front of the fire. We really want to apologize for the difficulties that you experienced with the WiFi in Campion. This gap in coverage has only recently come to light and we have new equipment on order which is due to be installed on the 13th of November 2018. At the same time we are changing the way guests sign onto the WiFi to improve accessibility. Thank you again for taking the time to write to us and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Grove in the future. Kind regards Karen Weisheit House Manager

Hi! We are about to visit The Grove for the first time, and wondered whether there is a dress code for dinner? Do you think that smart/casual would be fine, or do we need to dress up a little more? Thank you.
This maybe a bit late but we have been away. Smart casual is good

Hi, we are coming from London but don't drive and would like to know if we would need a car to get to the hotel or go to the nearest beach? Is Uber available? Thank you in advance!
You will definitely need a car to get around this area unless you plan to do very long walks from beach to beach. The hotel is not near a beach or a town. It is extremely unlikely that there will be anything like Uber but normal taxis can be arranged but will be quite expensive.

Good morning - could you please confirm that you are still welcome well behaved dogs. Thank you.
Yes, we do have certain rooms that we allow well behaved dogs to stay in. They are also welcome in the grounds and on the terraces but not in the restaurant. If you wish to stay with a dog, please book direct via phone or email so we can ensure we have availability in the dog friendly rooms. We look forward to welcoming you to the Grove.

Hi, is this Hotel suitable for families with young children? I.e 3 under 4
I would agree with Sarah from Cardiff about facilities for children. There are lovely grounds which in the summer would be great for little ones to run around in, but I'm not sure about the hotel itself. As Sarah said, just ring and ask - they're absolutely delightful and will be able to help.
