Some aspects of our stay were very good, others problematic. Good news first: best price in the area, parking lot and exterior mentioned in earlier reviews are perfect, breakfast was busy and crowded but very well served and managed, room was spacious, bed comfortable, check out courteous and efficient. Bad news: check in about 5:00 pm was very slow, 2 staff members were at the counter and we were the only ones there, several repetitive questions and confusion with the person checking us in also answering the phone while the second person just watched. The biggest problem was the bathroom had hair in the tub and a very long hair fell out of a clean wash cloth as I unfolded it.

We are very glad that you enjoyed most of your stay. I apologize for the delay in your check in. We currently are training a front desk attendant so we appreciate your patience.

Stayed 1 night as my daughter was attending a gymnastics meet next door. The room was adequate and for the most part was clean. Bathrooms could use some updating. Both the refrigerator and heating/AC unit were extremely loud and kept waking us up. Free breakfast was good.

For the most part, the staff and facilities are great. The housekeeping staff is caring and meticulous. The night front desk manager, Joe, is quite animated and overzealous doing his job. If Hitler needed a sidekick, Joe should apply! Connecting to the WIFI, but that could have been my computer. I figured it out.

Nice hotel, I use a wheelchair so reserved a wheelchair accessible room that was actually big enough and designed to be wheelchair accessible:-) Breakfast was the standard Choice hotel chain breakfast with the minimum (no biscuits and gravy). My only complaint: the breakfast is served using the cheapest plastic ware I have ever seen (I told the staff too). HINT: the manager should go visit the Quality Inn Bradley down the street about 2 miles which has one of the ONLY breakfast served on real plates with real silverware..(they were booked :-( Overall a decent place

Hotel is very dated and upon entering the hotel smells very musty. They no longer have a fancy lobby area as shown in the pictures, but 8 slot machines that one of the employees was playing when we arrived. There is a large posted sign that there is no gathering space or "parties" allowed in the area where breakfast is held. Bed was a spring bed and not comfortable. Room was dirty as the walls and doors are not wiped down. Flickering light bulbs, dirty carpet and only an outlet on the lamps in the bedroom. The clientele seems suggestive honestly as 3 different groups were outside smoking weed and it was quite dark in the parking lot. Won't return here and wouldn't recommend.

The hotel's cleanliness and facilities were subpar, with a noticeable musty odor. Additionally, the pool was out of service, and the breakfast provided was of poor quality.
However, the hotel's location was convenient, and it offered ample parking space. The customer service was generally satisfactory, with the exception of the individual responsible for managing the breakfast service.

I had to use a hanger with clips to hold my curtain closed. Being on the first floor and my curtains would not stay closed, I wasn’t interested in peeping Toms. Then when I went to the breakfast, it had the normal breakfast options with ants everywhere. I made a bowl of oatmeal with toppings (raisins, granola, nuts). The front desk person (they don’t wear masks) came and put his grubby hands right into the toppings to make himself a bowl as well. The cherry on the top was hearing the breakfast attendant informing him that she doesn’t feel well but can’t afford to take time off work. He asked if she had a vaccine and she said no. Why are they not health screening their employees BEFORE they start serving their guests breakfast. And why is staff not wearing masks? This place gave me the creeps from the minute I had to use a hanger on my curtains. Breakfast just confirmed my thoughts on this place.

I made several changes to my reservation prior to arrival and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We had a total of 5 rooms booked for friends from out of state because due to COVID travel to and from Chicago is restricted. I arrived a night before everyone else. I've been staying at this hotel for 6 yrs  for the record. I spoke with a very friendly woman named Kelly when I needed to upgrade  my reservation. She was no less than fantastic and super friendly. I only regret I was unable to thank her in person. The rest of the staff FANTASTIC especially consider tourism is way down. My room was clean and very comfortable. The only downside was that my refrigerator wasn't working. They sent a tech and a specified time the next day and he discovered it was only unplugged. I assume since it was most likely out of use for 7 months of COVID. To tp op it all off they even granted all of his travelers an extra hour of checkout. I was bummed that there was no hot food at the breakfast buffet but that's just the state of the industry now. The upside is that there are so many great places to eat within walking distance. I really cannot wait to return. Thanks to everyone at the Comfort Inn!

The hotel had major wear and tear. Bed was on a pallet, carpet torn and unswept, elevator dirty. Second floor stairs closed but we were placed on the second floor. Strong odor of weed in parking lot and in hallways. Bathroom floor tiles broken. Room unclean.

I have been in customer service for 11 years I have taking classes watched videos and trained. I know how customer, guest, and clients should be treated, especially when being told something they shouldn't have to hear. We are your money. we are your reputation. we are the most important part to your business. No matter what the customer is always right. We should never be blamed and always be accomadted, unfortunately that was not the case on June 21st the day of my sisters wedding when my grandmother my aunt and myself had to be escorted out of the building by police. The general manager was the most unprofessional person I've ever spoke with. She put the blam on the guest saying (my aunt) made a mistake. She stood looking at her computer like we were a huge bother to her we were the least of her worries. When we were talking to her to see how we can be accomadted for the hotels mistake she put her finger in my face and my grandmother face (67 years old) and said you and your posse can go somewhere. Again we are the guest we should be treated with respect it's our money in your pockets. my though would be taking your guest who are very displease to a more private location to discuss the situation and ACCOMADTE your guest especially on such a big day instead of calling the police to escort 67 year old woman out of the hotel and my self. my father got an email saying I was rude ( i am a paying guest) who stopped doing the brides hair and make up because my aunt and grandmother were being asked to leave... And were stressing out. was I rude? Noo i was trying to help my grandmother and aunt get accommodated for a miss understanding on the hotels behalf . The email also stated police suggested I not be allowed back on the property which I found humors because I spoke with the police and they said they get called to come escort people out Alot. actually the police were called 4 times in the last two days. We had other people dumbfounded who were at the hotel during the situation that said they couldn't believe that was happening. This is a review on my experience at the comfort inn dealing with unprofessional rude, unable to properly handle a situation not accomatading. And sarcastic. Oh and let me add there was another manager there that was asked to please let guest know there will be a shuttle for the wedding as they checked in not one person was told until one of my sisters friends had to go down and ask them again to please tell people. I will say the hotel is very nice and the staff we very nice people but management is the problem in my eyes.
