We stayed for only one night on our way back from Chicago. They were wonderfully welcoming and the house is incredible. We were given a tour of the house when we arrived and the history was very interesting. We loved the deep tub in the Rose room and the handmade soaps! After a good nights sleep, we had an amazing...

Excellent decorum and wonderful history. Very friendly hostess with everything you could want. They allowed us to store our bikes in the carriage house for safe keeping. Would recommend it to anyone. The breakfast was delicious.

We stopped here during our trip down Route 66 and all I can say is if you get the chance to stay then do so, it is truly an experience! Every aspect including the staff was perfect. I just wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

A superb experience. It's like staying in a museum. Each room has it's hidden treasures on display for all to see. Staff friendly, Breakfast lovely and fresh. Not the America most if us see and do. If passing through Bloomington, definitely stop.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while visiting family. Every room is unique. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Can't wait to stay here again. There is no central air condition but it wasn't to hot while we were there. Also the only tv is in a sitting room.

My daughter and I stayed at the Mansion on a Friday night and we loved it. I had a nice tour of the mansion from Brian when I arrived and he made the effort to take my daughter on a tour later in our stay. Loved the history of the place and the fact that it remains so much of...

We had a very nice stay. The place was super clean. The breakfast was beautiful and delicious. There was so much food. The candles were lit. The player piano was playing. The customer service was perfect. Helpful yet respectful. The house is lovely. They are working hard to restore and maintain this lovely historical home. Our room, The Julia, had...

Spent Valentine's Day night in the Carl Vrooman Suite. Antiques and history in every room. Breakfast was egg, spinach soufflé, red velvet pancakes and bacon and sausage. Tour of the carriage house revealed two more bedrooms uniquely restored to historic work of art.

Spent Valentine's Day here at this wonderful b&b. Had a wine, cheese and fruit tray. Breakfast was quite scrumptious. Too bad it was cold and had snowed. We are planning to go back when the weather is nicer.

Thanks so much for staying with us! We would love to have you back in the summer- the side porch is even better for enjoying a nice bottle of wine ;-) Kate

The house is old and if you look closely, you can tell. But it's got character, the room was comfortable, and breakfast was great. All in all, a fairly typical B&B experience. I enjoyed the player piano and the house has a fairly interesting history.
