Perhaps some areas of change would be the continental breakfast and the hotel could use minor updates. There is places where wall damage needed repair. The pool and hot tub were great. The cave was interesting. Also the sitting area around the cave was very pleasant and relaxing.

Upon arrival, we entered our room only to find the heat wasn’t working. It was a bone chilling 64 degrees. Needless to say the room was freezing. They did accommodate us in another room that had heat, but the features are dated. As you can see the stand had a fruit roll up wrapper etched on it. How you allow furniture like this to be in your rooms for your guests is beyond me. Carpeting is stained, hasn’t been replaced for years. Continental breakfast was like they ran up the street to Butera and bought some doughnuts. Seemed like a skeleton crew for a 100% full hotel. Upside is, we do like the size of the rooms, beds were comfortable, but overall we hope this place gets upgraded, cause the struggle is real.

I don't really understand all of the horrible reviews on this place. Sure the pictures aren't exactly how it looks but the reviews are seriously misleading. I stayed this past Friday 10/19/19 and my stay was nothing short of excellent! Sure the rug in the lobby has stains on it, but my room was awesome. The lobby did NOT smell like smoke. There was people cleaning all over the place. My room was spacious and had an awesome ceiling. The bathroom in my room was spotless. The pool was awesome! There was no noise after hours- completely peaceful and quiet. It was a delightful experience to say the least and I will 110% be back within the next few weeks. :)

+1
The only good thing that I can say about this place is that Chloe at the front desk was outstanding. Other than that this place is a 1 on the 10 scale. The pictures tell the whole story. From dog poop in the hall, to extremely stained carpeting, rusted lockers in the pool locker rooms, rusted pool slide ladder, hallway air vents beyond filthy, room window ledges with mold, several white stains in the hallway carpeting. Our closet door didn't function, the exterior of the elevators coated with dust and dirt, the pool was not very warm, the water was cloudy and the pool deck area had many used towels thrown about along with beer cans/bottles. The gift shop is 3 or shelves on the lobby wall and no bell staff. Staff members park their cars in the front drive in the fire department zone. This hotel stopped being a Hilton 2 years ago but websites still show it listed as such. The photos shown on their website are basically false advertisement as they are very old photos from the hotels Glory days. There is no golf course/driving range, no spa, no mini golf course or outdoor pool. The owner First ILR apparently doesn't care what happens to the property. This dump may be pet friendly but it sure isn't guest friendly, clean or a healthy environment. Do yourself a major favor and stay away.

The atrium has several leaks, the carpet in the atrium has extensive water damage and stains, cigarette smoke everywhere, the Cave bar had no lighting. There’s black mold in the ceiling in different places. Not up to Hilton standards.
