We spent a month on Wild Coast and this was a highlight. Well situated with views of rolling hills dotted with village houses and overlooking the ocean. Excellent accommodations and Nomsa our housekeeper kept it spotless with a visit to clean at breakfast and again after lunch Brilliant walks both inland with views of the winding river and along the...

We loved at our stay at Swell. It's a long drive, because of the poor state of the local roads, but it's absolutely worthwhile - this is a very special place, in a very undeveloped part of the country. We stayed in the family/honeymoon rondavel, which is huge, spacious, beautifully fitted and has a stunning view. The lodge staff are...

We felt very safe and secure staying at this lodge. We will definitely return and recommend to others. LOVED IT!

Fantastic venue, beautiful experience. The catering was great and the small shop had everything else that we needed. The people were wonderful and accommodating and the Transkei is breath taking. Caught some fish and some waves and also went for some trail runs and kayaking. Rooms are awesome and we even allowed an entire day just to chill and enjoy...

Very lovely and quiet place in a beautiful landscape. The gravel road to Swell Eco Lodge is not so bad as expected. The view along the road is stunning. I highly recommend this place! The photos do not show how beautiful this place really is!

We booked that palce by mistake, because we thought it is on our way. When we found out that mistake, we almost skip visiting Swell Echo Lodge. But we had a huge luck that we did not find free place around on the last minute. From the begining we knew it will be an excellent place to host at. Justin...

Simon and Lee are very friendly hosts. Dinner and breakfast surpassed our expectation. The place itself is extraordinary. Simon took us to a very interesting trip to his buffaloes. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit

Lodge is beautiful with well kept garden. The pool table is a bonus. The rondavels have nice decor and is clean and comfortable. The communal kitchen was spotless with everything you need - the steps to the kitchen is a bit of a safety hazard for older people. The telephone number of Justin needs to be updated with LekkeSlaap as...

“The Duplex's ronnies although more expensive have a great view from the decks. The cheaper Garden ronnies are still a very nice but without the view. You have to try Numsa's bread, wow!!”
